  • @QuadRider004 *maybe not maybey lol

  • @fatdrood Yeah true maybey now...well actually thats a gurantee it will get ate up by a new 450 but that bike but that bike is 10 years old and what it had available at that time no other companies had to offer

  • That cdale runs great!!!! My friend had one and I had a warrior, warrior was pushing 30 horses witha ton of mods, cola was stock pushin around 50-60. He had to cruise while I was floored. Then he'd break down..... Lol

  • its brand new, or used bike?

  • @BARBAJA207 It is almost 10 years old. I bought it brand new and it still runs great.

  • got one just like this in my garage....needs new fuel lines....thanks for posting this, needed to hear it run to get me off me arse...

  • Buy an ATK,still a Cannondale but with the problems ironed out,EFI and cranks!I've seen ones for around $2000,under quarter price of new and under 4 years old.....bargain!!!(Ohlins suspension etc).

  • thanks for posting this.. got a customers 02 440 glamis in the garage right now .... he was wondering about all the noise. i figured cam chain but now i see its NORMAL.... not all that impressed with the design but sounds like its a runner....

  • man really sucks cannondale stopped makin these bikes gurantee they will run with a new 450....these bikes were beasts

  • @QuadRider004 nah they were way under powered an heavy, any new 450 will see this off with ease

  • sounds like a bucket of rocks are jiggling around in there ;)

  • @technineriderTEH Wot do u expect its a 4 stroke!

  • It took 10 years for the Japanese bike co's to finally copy it. The 2010 YZF 450 Yamaha motor has the exhaust coming out the back and fuel injected. Cannondale was WAY ahead of the competition

  • @airpilikia as i understand the cannondale engine was from atk. the two worked in conjunction with eachother. i saw this one becase its how ive heard it but if you look a atk 450 has the exact same engine layout :)

  • @nitrojoe9 Actually Canondale motors went out of business and ATK bought all the remaining bikes and parts. They claim to have redesigned quite a few things that improved reliability and performance. I think the origional motor was all canondale

  • and still is. the new jap bikes weigh more than both of my 2003 Cannondales.

  • @airpilikia Lol....

  • Pretty cool concept for a bike and in its time it was the cats ass but lets face it the dam thing weighs 300 pounds, it is more or less an off road harley.

  • iv never even heard of canadale

  • wow. i have never seen a canonndale dirt bike.

  • i have one of these. My dad just gave it to me. Does yours break down a lot, because mine always does and I can't ever find parts for it

  • Thats because you dont know how to take care of yours. Do the routine maintenence and it never breaks down. Mine is a 2003 and has never given me problems

  • Dude I have it worked on every 2 weeks. Tell me thats not taking care of it.

  • I work on my own bike so I dont know what your's is doing that is causing problems. Get the GP Control Maintenance and Diagnostic kit for it. shoot me a message with what your bike is doing and I can try to help

  • Yea that guy just doesnt get that that its a cool bike but its going to break down no matter what. You cant just start making motorcycles like that and expect things to be perfect, hell even my 250f breaks too much with a ton of routine maintenance. My crank just broke and theres no maintenance that could have prevented that ya know.

  • Make sure it gets updated, or it will keep on breaking down. My Cannondale engines last atleast a whole season.

  • 2003 is not that old at all though..but still it shouldnt breakdown if you take care of it like you said

  • thats a sick bike, i had no idea cannondale made bikes, i thought only quads.

  • Ah nothing like the sound of a Cannondale, I love the random comments you will get, people always think somethings wrong with it haha.

You should hear 4 or 5 of them together, thats some real racket!

  • I love the looks of their bikes. too bad it didn't work out for them. Turns out, this venture into dirtbikes and ATV's bankrupted the company and they just got bought out by Pacific Cycles, which owns Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, and Dyno. Oh, and to make matters worse, Pacific Cycles is owned by a Canadian company called Dorel. No longer are Cannondales 100% American.

  • yah, too bad. those stupity canadian and their brodie, rocky mountain and brp... oh wait?

  • them damn motors were never worth a shit but when they ran they would smoke the competition

  • The exhaust sounds pretty cool. Of course the video quality prohibits one from hearing the true sound of the motor, but it sounds like the valve train is wonky and the cam chain is loose.

  • That the uniqueness of the Cannondale. Straight cut gears! When one comes at you, you hear the motor way before the exhaust.
