4:40 is my new background. Snake you were a hero, but kojima really has to stop here. They achieved the pinnacle of perfection with metal gear solid 4, and wrapped up everything properly. MGS rising is a fuck up, but they've not ruined the series yet.

MGS saka doesn't end at 4. There gonna be more parts of Metal Gear Solid. There's new one called Rising, where you play Raiden. So i think there gonna be more parts with raiden and snake :)

I honestly think they're done with it. Really, they've destroyed the Patriots, the world is back to figuring things out on it's own, Raiden is no longer a cyborg, and Snakes journey is at an end. What better way to end the series than with that? I seriously doubt another game coming.

Maybe cyborg snake? They know how to do it so it's an option. =P I love the series and really like snake as the lead character. It would be rather hard to continue the plot in my opinion and I don't want them to ruin the series with 1 bad game. I just hope they make the right decision.

Ne ways i've loved every MGS game ever made i enjoyed each one so much but i dnt want there to be a new MGS cause they have all been around Big Boss and Solid making a new one after the forth one aint right MGS aint GS with out Snake and we all know it so yer every one wants there to be a new MGsS but disapointed cause it aint with Snake/Big Boss so thats my opinion.

I've been thinking that since the end of MGS4. His hair resembles Snake/Big Boss's as well-which, with the humor and little things Konami always does, could be a hint at something like that. Of course I'm kind of thinking they're going to either start fresh or do more Big Boss stuff. I read somewhere that they wanted to do more with Big Boss and that the next game would be a prequel-but who knows?

I love all your theories and id sorta like to contribute one of my own. Typically when a game makes money they dont stop making it. If its title makes money they WILL carry it on. I dont think Hideo Kojima will direct the next MGS and i doubt Snake will be in it unless they found some secret way to clone em. Also... your forgetting about that blood sample naomi took... it coulda been passed on? Anywho... IF they recreate an MG game (which i think they will) THAT would be awesome.
