I have a question, did you use any face cleanser and cream during your pregnancy journey? I am actually concerned about my break outs.... I just wondering if you know something safe for a pregnant to use....
I got my cats declawed (we have 3) just for a precaution because they are very "loving", almost aggressively loving. And they did perfectly fine (100% better than what anti-delcaw ppl would make it out like) and tolerated it better than when they were spayed. My son's due date is in 5 weeks and I won't tolerate a cat kneading her claws all over my son (or laying on him for that matter). Your cats seem less social than mine - mine are all up in people's faces! Your cats won't need declawing :)

Chamomile tea with mint should help you sleep. I dont know if you can drink it while you're pregnant, but I had the same problem, staying up till am hours trying to get to sleep. I drink 2 cups of tea before bed and it helps me relax and get sleepy.

Kitties have such sharp claws, one of my cats is really skiddish too and she always claws me unintentionally but both of my cats are indoor/outdoor cats so they need the claws for hunting. Cats are occasionally spazzes by nature. But yours looks pretty docile. Just be careful when it and the baby are near each other, give them each their own spaces, and there won't be any problem.
I had 3 cats, all with claws and they never once bothered my baby. How did I manage? Do not allow them to get in the babies room at all! They will associate the baby smell with "Stay away" and keep their distance.
And the whole "they will lay on your babies head and suffocate them" is bullshit. If your cat is skiddish to begin with, he will probably not want to be by the baby.
Declawing is considered inhumane in so many ways. It's not a simple procedure, it's an amputation and your cats will probably never be the same - personality wise. If you touch or get close to the declawed paw, they will become very aggressive. Please research this a little before you decide, for you and your pets sake. :)
cats are very dangerous to babies. they smell milk on the babies mouth and sprawls out on there face.. VERY VERY dangerous.. they can sufficate babies. I actually have the EXACT same pack n play exept pink and brown from toys r us. :) very cute !

I have a cat, and we just had a baby too. My cat just keeps her distance from our baby. I had to teach her that she wasnt allowed in the crib... better yet, keep the baby room door closed. Also, once the baby arrives, make sure you still still pay special attention to your kitties.
We used the vibratting chair ALOT... and a basonette for beside our bed... we also have a "fisherprice aquarium cradle swing"... it's the best!

I like the "classic" Winnie The Pooh theme ur going for- i think the colours, ect. are much prettier than the newer version where hes all bright yellow and red!!!
you can clip and trim your cats nails yourself, we did that with our cat and it works perfect. So what I mean is just like you trim your own nails , (not de-clawing :) :) ) just be careful not to clip where the nail is pinkish, that is where it is growing and therefore alive and sensitive. If its noise your worried about your cats reacting to try playing cds with baby cries and sounds on them....also after you deliver have your husband bring home a blanket with the babies scent on it so they can get used to it....your cats should adapt alright, it will take time and you will have to be very careful but overall it should be alright. The nursery is adorable! Not much longer now!!! Exciting :)
you should look into the pedipaw its a specially designed pet nail file that basically makes the nail a nub.. its painless the only down fall is it isnt permanent... but anyways PetCo and PetSmart sell it and i think you can buy it online... i'm pretty sure its $20-30.. super cute nursery too by the way :o)

it's by Lands' End ... it's the Baby Microfleece Blanket. It's 19.50 for the blanket and $5 to monogram it. we love it, we bought 2 of them :)
