  • The electric mistress is a flanger effect. Id go with the ph3 or the visusl sound h20 chorus pedal if you want a liquid sound

  • I like the sound/progression you are playing at 3:12, what chords did you play? very good

  • @FireAtMidnightUSA Em D C D in A Barre Chord Formation. I tend to just improvise when doing demos I guess I need to work out a structure.

  • @JimijaymesGuitarist I think the improv sounds great, it is right in the moment...

  • great demo

  • i love this pedal. it works perfectly for my bass, as well as using it with my laptop and using the FX on any song i want... makes indie sound techno, and techno sound better. lol

  • someone claimed this thing only works well with other digital effects, anyone know if that's BS or what??

  • I've got one and love it to death because you can get sooo many different sounds out of it. The only downside is that you get a noticeable drop in volume when the pedal is engaged.

  • @nickapleez91 that's why I hate Boss effekt's. They put so many variations in the pedals. Im using the ehv phaser and I like it much better. can you tell me why you like that pedal that much, please.

  • Yea like i said, with this pedal you can dial in just about any sound you want. But with that you compromise sound quality and for some reason a noticeable volume drop. I play a les paul into a fender deville and alot of the times when i turn on this pedal, the sound just turns to mud. With some tweaking though, you can get some nice sounds out of it. I just wish there was a way to fix the volume drop when the pedal is on.

  • I saw that you have a boss ph-2, and hear many great things about that pedal, and not so many about the ph-3. What is your opinion of a comparison between the two? Can you get the modes of the ph-3 to sound similar to the ph-2? For example, i heard mode 2 in the ph-2 is a 12 stage, so how does the ph-3's 12 stage sound in comparison?

  • The ph-2 has more mid range honk to the phase tone then the ph-3. It's more in your face and maybe more useable. The extra modes are what sets the ph-3 apart for just 10 or 12 stage mode maybe the ph-2 is better if not as clear and clean sounding.

  • oh btw is it true bypass ?

  • no boss pedals are but i think most of the buffers in them sound good

  • thinkin bout getting one cuz they sound great(from demos on youtube) ...are they worth getting?

  • Used one for ages. Lots of options and great sounds a little digital (as in the dry signal sounds digitized when the pedals on) but the phase sounds are still sweet. Hard to find something with the tone of the 8,10,12 stage and fall and rise without paying a lot more money or buying multiple phasers. For smallstone/phase 90 tones get one of them for other stuff this is decent and fun to play with.

  • Take that as a yes then lol

    Thanks

    I'm Going to get one

I was wondering if you could tell me if a wah wah pedal is worth getting as well, as i was thinking of getting one but i don't know . Thanks

  • Every guitarist needs to have a wah in their collection at one point. They are not for everybody and shouldn't be used all the time but can be used creatively and you need try them and get a feel for them.
