  • James Moore is to Harper what Goebbels was to Hitler

  • He's okay

The CBC still seems to provide a service.

Is there no inherent value in that?

Wonder how long it will take the conservatives to infiltrate and shroud the objectivity we often observe from the CBC when compared to US networks of which I am familiar. (excluding PBS A fine example of public service doing a BETTER JOB of in this case informing the public) I would wager that with a mandate Stephen Harper would privatize the CBC citing the usual reasons which this interview contradicts

  • CBC is a hippy.

but i bet you are too.

And stop trying to take my hard earned money to pay for your art classes, fag.

  • Your money? Hard earned? If you are blue collar prove your superiority by convincing the others that you are a more worthy wielder of wealth. What have you been doing with that money? If you are white collar you should be ashamed of how ignorant you remain with all that time on your hands. Bottom line you are defending a corporate monopoly of media.

  • he doesn't seem to be to concerned about peoples jobs...

  • .."the migration of voters into online content." 02:30

    that's rather revealing

  • I wish this government practiced what the preached. "They made their own business decisions. It's not taxpayers' fault if these people have made business decisions that put them in jeopardy."

That is an amazingly true statement. And yet... banks in Canada got a ton of bailouts recently that they didn't need. And it looks like the content industry is going to get it too, by the government's actions, in direct contrast to tough talk like this.

  • James Moore is the MP in my riding. I voted against him last election because of the Conservative leader. He's still relatively young though so there's always hope that he steps up somewhere down the line. He's a breath of fresh air from what is happening to politics. He doesn't let personal beliefs interfere with his political responsabilities.

  • this interview is freaking intense.

  • Canadian bailout = bad idea.

  • Hey,shut up down there.

  • or, you could just breathe through your nose... duh

  • Hi =)

  • Do we Canadians really risk "Americanizing" ourselves if we watch more American content vs Canadian content?

Aren't there other things about Canadians that separates us from Americans?

  • yes we do

at it stands a lot of our "Canadian English" is borrowed from both Britain AND the US, and the more we are shown one the more we lean towards it.

as it stands anytime colour, flavour or honour appear in print I smile a little

  • well, no body seems to know how to pronounce lieutenant because of americanization >.>

  • this is a great show

  • noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, let free market run!!

Stop using our tax dollars to support assets that we chose not to support.

  • people talk often shit about George, but I think this is a pretty damn good show

  • ...yeah George is a douche but he's a really great interviewer and his show is defiantly the best Canadian talk show on TV currently.

  • "The opportunities out there are far exceed that" --James Moore. 7:03

I sure do love our government's grammar!

  • who cares!? i'm more curious to the policy he pushes

  • The man provided an articulate and informative overview of the nature of the technological changes that this country is experiencing and you get all up in arms about that? What more do you want you fucking grammar nazi?

  • I love how anonymity can cause people speak as if they are children. I was making a harmless stab at the Conservative government and yet, you decide to waste your energy and hate on replying in a very juvenile manner. I recommend you get your life together fellow youtuber.

  • so CTV and Global go under, the CBC will remain and the government will have the monopoly on Canadian television.

  • there's always CPAC

  • Strombo rules!

  • wee
