I bought the rebel SIM and took my iPhone 3g 2.2.1 baseband 2.30.03. to the Philippines.

At first it worked on the SMART network, but then it would lose connection and say NO SIM. It would only work again when you take out the SMART sim, put it in an unlocked phone, make a call, then put it back in the iphone. Which is very annoying. Then after a day, it will do the same thing...."no SIM".

I'm thinking of buying this one...any other good reviews? :o)

no lie mooglex works like a charm putting the sim in is a hassle but once its there wait for 1min and baam full tmobile network always have a strong signal unlike the yellowsnow the signal dies allot this is the way to go works with edge and all very satisfied :-)

I bought a used iphone that was updated to 2.21 and 2.30.3 baseband.. I have scoured the city to find a sim card that would work....no luck, I ordered the mooglex and it worked amazing..no hickups nothing......RebelSim card did not work, it would unlock the signal, show up then go straight to NO SIM found.....the Mooglex is definitely the card to buy.........good luck to all..I am very satisfied with their chip......

UPDATE: Nov 2008! New release MoogleX V2.2 iPHone sim unlocker No-cut + replacement sim tray. Now its alot easier since it includes the iphone sim unlock adapter setup on the tray already. Once you receive the item you just need to put ur sim card right on top and insert. Thats it!... We had complaints of people messing it up and breaking their tray so we are sending you a replacement tray with it already setup for you....
