  • the honda odyssey gets it. a family friend of ours 2004 town and country had engine failure due to sludge problems, and she changed her oil on schedule as suggested. my odyssey went to 170,000 miles. hers got to 50,000

  • just bought this vehicle....its awesome. VVT, finally.......Chrysler is finally righting itself.

2012 3.6 liter VVT Wrangler will complete the transformation.

  • wonderful car mate :) I love it too :)

  • i have a 2010 chrysler town and country and i can't believe how much storage there is, i also found that if you hold down the unlock button on the key fob the front windows roll down

  • I have this car! <3 except in whiite!?

  • toyota beats this car in everyway

toyotas 3rd row seats one pull fold in and if that is limited modle its spoused to be auto fold like toyota and double camera toyota beats this van in every way expect the back seats dont have heated seats and no steeringwheel heat but I do like the town n contry when we did own it tho

  • @itzmailtime watch?v=WsnbLAu0nMI&

  • Mercedes makes theses now fyi :)

  • @S55OAMG were are you getting your info from, Chrysler is still very much manufacturing there own Mini Vans from the Town & Country to the Caravan as well as Volkswagens Routan all rolling down the same Chrysler assembly line.

  • @prettymuchright im get my info from my dad he works as manger in a mercedes benz dealer he has been working there for 14 years lol look at there set up i onw a gl450 and a 2010 chrysler t&c. mercedes onws a large percent of them even the swich to roll donw the windows there the same

and the gauges for the speedometer are the same just the t&c has some chrome

  • @S55OAMG Some History 1998 Daimler parent company to Mercedes merged with Chrysler where they cut and slashed everything Chrysler was doing at the time, Diamler let Chrysler bleed out until 2007 where with in a year they sold 100% stake in Chrysler to Cerberus Capital Management where Chrysler still continued to bleed into bankrupcy. 2009 Fiat & Chrysler Mergerd with nothing but Excellent results now Fiat is 53.3% stake in Chrysler & United Auto Workers 46.5% Stake.

  • @prettymuchright ohhh nvm i didn't read your user name your one of those assholes who think thay know it all also good job you learned how to copy and paste

  • @S55OAMG Oh no, I typed it all myself I did know the history though I used reference for the correct years and how much Fiat & United Auto Workers Stakes were now todate, =)

  • 8 people did not have stow n' go or SafetyTec on their Chevrolet van and had to leave their heavy removable seats in the car while the trunks open while thier driving

  • i have to say, weve had an odyssey since 03 with 163,000 miles on it. id love to own the grand caravan r/t. its so nice.

  • I like the van, but this video review was done very poorly. I wish they would have some some time at all on the entertainment features.

  • the average is probably bad because you idle with engine for the potential buyers. Driving around, even very spirited driving into the mountains easily comes up with 21-24, and actual highway (flat roads) got us 28+

  • This van is so much better then before it looks way better that a sienna and a oddesy and a quest

  • steal some more designs from toyota it is cent percent copy of toyota sienna and then to to chinese brand vehicles and cry that they dont obey copy right laws and this and that bla bla bla

  • @ramiz10494 Lets talk about stealing ideas! Who came out with Stow-N-Go? Hmmm. CHRYSLER! Who copied? Hmmmm. All the other manufacturers. Lets see, who came out with the Safety Tec, that the others didn't have? CHRYSLER! And yet again, the others copied. Sorry, Chrysler came first with the first modern mini-van as well and everyone else copied.

  • @MeadowlandCarmel hahaha funny nice humor

American cars are the most awfull even worst than indian cars go drive ur boring box that run on wheels

  • @ramiz10494 are you sure it's a toyota sienna copy? actually the first minivan ever was a chrysler so all other minivans are copy from chrysler...

  • I like a remote for everything, such as doors, engine and seats, such as music and the receiver or mobile and can be shipped with power from the car

  • omg why not learn how to use stow and go before doing it on camera? Because you just made it look like a hassle, when it's not

  • $40K for a chrysler? Are you high?

  • @MalakaShakalaka Fully loaded and safer than any foreign made minivan.

  • @MalakaShakalaka its $80k here in Aus

  • as i might of said i rented one of these to travel from florida to conneticut and i only filled once down and florida

  • Is swivel n' go still avalible?

  • @carlover2013 Hi, Thats funny you should say that. I was chatting with one of our sales guys and I brought that up. Unfortunately it did not have a good success rating and many people didnt end up using it, so they stopped swivel N Go :( I liked the idea so I went to a 2008 TC on our lot to try it out and the disadvantage is how you cannot move the driver seat if the 2nd row seat is turned around. Huge factor for someone like me that is 6'2.

  • I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! :)

  • @LEONMARTIN1000 Why thanks!!!! We do too!!!

  • which has higher resale value? this or the honda Odyssey? I already know this thing beats the Toyota so what makes this better than the Honda?

  • @camarychurch9609 Reliability, Reliability, Reliability!! Chrysler "invented" the minivan, and Honda tried to copy it but failed miserablty. On a personal standpoint, I have no idea about resale value. I feel that the Chrysler would have a better resale. I do, however, have a friend that bought the Odyssey and regrets not buying another Town and Country. Just some food for thought.

  • @MeadowlandCarmel I will tell you this looks way better inside and out than the 2010, and looks much better than the 2011 Odyssey. I would probably go with the Chrysler over the Honda. Thanks and great review!

  • @camarychurch9609 If you are still curious, call our store and just ask for our used car manager and tell him you spoke to Anthony on YouTube, he would be more than happy to answer this question with much more knowledge than I would. (845)-225-8468 or 877-752-7220.

  • $40k wow way to much for an American mini van! You could get the Honda for that! I went to test drive one of these yesterday and they were giving them away!! They were giving $7500 in incentives I almost walked out with one for $28k fully loaded but the color was wrong! I am going back to buy the one I want on Monday! It is a great mini van however it lets you know that it is cheap! The interior and exterior are cheap, no thrills! If you have the $ get the Honda, I dont so I will buy this!

  • @SOLDERBOY69 Hi, I am a little confused with this post. This minivan shown here was listed back in January and didn't last long on our lot. It is 40,000 FULLY loaded, more features than Honda and a lot safer as well. Safety Tec installed. Because they just came out they were more expensive. Now, we are offering them a lot cheaper, - 2,000 in rebates, with 0% financing for 60 Months.

  • @SOLDERBOY69 Who in their right mind would buy a Honda over a Chrysler. Liberals...

  • @carlover2013 Well put!!!! Thanks!!!

  • i m from europe and i have last model 2008 chrysler grand voyager vith 2.8 diesel engine 163 HP automatic 6 speed. Car have bad plastick interior and spend lots of diesel 15 ltr / 100 km. I hope the new Lancia Grand Voyager in Europe vill be with new diesel engines and manual transmision . thats the only way for exses in europe for this new great van.

  • What exactly does that 'fuel economy' button do?

  • @Djonemore Hi, Town & Country provides the selectable fuel economizer. It adjusts engine timing and transmission shift points to optimize fuel economy. To activate it, all you have to do is press the "ECON" button.

Standby because in 2012 or 2013 it is alleged that Chrysler will have the first Hybrid minivan.

    - Anthony

  • @MeadowlandCarmel Thanks for the response, and the information on the Hybrid. However I like to tow with our 2005... I don't think a hybrid would be the best option for myself. What are the new 4.0's capable of towing wise? Do they have a towing package?

  • @Djonemore Hello again, Yes, the 2011 Town and Country's have towing packages available. The Touring, Touring-L, and Limited all have towing capabilities. Do you live near Carmel, NY? We'd love to give you a test drive of the new T+C's. Have you been in one? They are FABULOUS!

    Talk soon,

    Anthony

  • @MeadowlandCarmel Town & Country + Hybrid!? impossible!!!

  • @M67v Nothing is impossible for Chrysler.

  • chowing gum i c

  • @SuperHello311 You caught me! Between that and 0 degree temperatures that day in NY, it was a push. Thanks for watching!!!!

  • My mom got the 2001 limited she messed up:(

  • A van that I wouldn't be afraid to be seen in.

  • For one, there's a lot of space bc you had the seat all the way up...

  • Way better improvement over the 2008-2010 model.

  • @DeadofWinter321 Much agreed!

  • This would actually be a great car to be chaufferd in. You could get rid of the 2nd row and have all the space in the world in the back seat and get you a nice large flip down tv with satellite.

  • i had an 03 PT curiser turbo, an 06 Dodge Ram laramie, a 2008 chrysler 300C Limited Hemi and now i am going for the 2011 dodge charger <3

  • 4 things just to pull down the seats??

  • @GoldenMonkeyJosh Its actually rather simple.

  • Poor bugger who bought a Dodge... My sympathies!

  • @Mr05Tundra Did you just copy and paste that? LOL

  • @adge0042 haha

  • @Mr05Tundra The Chrysler line up has improved drastically over the past few years.

  • There really isn't anything on the market that compares.

  • @BuddyOx You are so right, Buddy Ox!

  • umm dont forget toyota sienna awd limited

  • @mahdi14age Umm don't forget Sienna = more expensive and more recalls. Hmmm a no brainier here. Toyota has the worst safety reputation out of all the foreign cars combined. Thanks but no thanks,

  • 40 gran for a Dodge? HA !!!

  • @millan32 Not a bad price at all! Great ratings, lots of longevity, and FULLY loaded with every feature imaginable.

  • @millan32 BTW, Not Dodge...... CHRYSLER! Big difference.

  • @MeadowlandCarmel Yea there is about $5,500 of a Big Difference in for MSRP to INVOICE price. Front and Back end money... Do you tell your Customers That?

  • what a amazing van i love chrysler... wow i hate that people look down on chrysler.. but the duo just got better.... the van looks awesome... i love it...

  • @Gapandgold I love Chrysler too! It is a very sharp looking van and the new logo looks fantastic!

  • @Gapandgold You and me both! Chrysler makes an AWESOME product that lasts a long time. Have you driven the 2011? Holy Cow, what a great vehicle!

  • Good review

  • @brentsrx7 Thanks so much!!!
