the honda odyssey gets it. a family friend of ours 2004 town and country had engine failure due to sludge problems, and she changed her oil on schedule as suggested. my odyssey went to 170,000 miles. hers got to 50,000

Unfortunately it did not have a good success rating and many people didnt end up using it, so they stopped swivel N Go :( I liked the idea so I went to a 2008 TC on our lot to try it out and the disadvantage is how you cannot move the driver seat if the 2nd row seat is turned around. Huge factor for someone like me that is 6'2.

On a personal standpoint, I have no idea about resale value. I feel that the Chrysler would have a better resale. I do, however, have a friend that bought the Odyssey and regrets not buying another Town and Country. Just some food for thought.

$40k wow way to much for an American mini van! You could get the Honda for that! I went to test drive one of these yesterday and they were giving them away!! They were giving $7500 in incentives I almost walked out with one for $28k fully loaded but the color was wrong! I am going back to buy the one I want on Monday! It is a great mini van however it lets you know that it is cheap! The interior and exterior are cheap, no thrills! If you have the $ get the Honda, I dont so I will buy this!

It is 40,000 FULLY loaded, more features than Honda and a lot safer as well. Safety Tec installed. Because they just came out they were more expensive. This would actually be a great car to be chaufferd in. You could get rid of the 2nd row and have all the space in the world in the back seat and get you a nice large flip down tv with satellite.
