@RupertoIII I think it was Ottavia Piccolo. Cause Barbara May was "Freda", the attractive young woman with the curly blonde short hair and Simona Cavallari was "Nena", the girl at Mino's age.

Thanks for loading this! I was almost the same age as Mino when I saw it. I liked both the story and the actrors and had recorded on a cassette the music from the opening, a scene in which Mino was searching on a map and another one in the end expecting to meet his father. And of course I liked Pierre Cosso.But I had entirely forgotten the girl with the big hat.
