You listen closely. In the first few seconds he calls Todd Friel an idiot and he does the same at 40secs. Pastor Randy was talking about the 'atheist' when he said "he's just been hurt".

Apart from the small problem that you clearly have not understood the discourse in the video, I must tell you that I have listened to this again and it is honestly the worst piece of preaching I have come across this whole year.

He was talking about the "athiest" when saying he had been hurt. He was quoting the person in the car with him. I go to his church every sunday so I think I would know how he speaks.

And secondly who said he was preaching for you. He does this for God. He could care less if this was the "worst piece of preaching" preaching isn't an object, it's not entertainment. It's not meant for you. It's meant to glorify God, and help non-ignorant people get closer.

What he was saying is dont walk around condemning people, it has the opposite effect on someone who doesnt know God. when you educate people on who they can be and what God is about they will listen with an open ear. if i walk up to you and are telling you that you are terrible and are going to hell... your instinct is to resent the me. the person will never recieve what they are being told.

@ChrisHobeck I was about to say the same thing when I saw that comment. You beat me to the punch. :) Jesus nor the prophets held their tongues when it came to calling out sin. He calls it as it is and it may be offensive but that is a good type of offense because it allows people to see where they are in God's eyes instead of lying to themselves about how good they are. This type of offense can lead to repentence and salvation. We do no one any good by not calling an apple an apple.

Cont.. i didnt hear him say that he shouldnt tell him he is wrong but its how you do it. example: jesus with the women at the well... he didnt condemn her, he got to know her, showed he was different then all the other people who had looked down on her for her mistakes and then showed her where she needed to change.

But that verse ("God is love") is no more or less true than 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9: "the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might."

You are right, it does say that but pay attention to who it's written too. "To the CHURCH of the Thessalonians" meaning he was speaking to believers. Read it from the beginning. Pay attention to the context its being said in. that wasn't being told to a non-believer. Saying "vengence is coming to you from God" without a proper foundation will only make people think God hates them. Do you want to get to know someone who u think hates you? NOPE. the point is how the initial intro to God is made.
