@PrafektRider My dad got it for me at Christmas when I was 9...don't really remember how he decided to get that game for me (can't recall really asking for it or anything). Probably still my favourite game of all time.

You should. FF8 and FF10 are also VERY good games too. FF7 was the hard one to get though. Pissed me off, 50$ on ebay. Although I found it for alot less in a Yard sale box for about 10$. pissed me off more because I didnt think to get it, my brother lost his copy, had I known id have bought it in a heartbeat

me too :D i found emerald pretty easy but ruby took me a while to figure out what to do. but after that it only took 2 attempts =]

and I've never read a guide on it xD I've had that game since the 90's so I've pretty much memorised the entire game xD

haha not quite that much but it was still quite a lot. was about 7-9 hours a day.

but my final playtime came to just below 25 hours.

and when i fought sephiroth i had everyone but i only used my first party
