Angela Davis on Women, Privilege and Prisons Part I

The professor from Spelman got at least one fact wrong: Angela Davis was never a member of the Black Panther Party. She supported them, but they did not let her join because of her membership and activism in the Communist Party, which she did not leave until the 1990's - although she remains a communist. I do not infer the BPP refused her membership because of any anti-communist feelings: I assume they did so because they saw themselves a separate political party.

Whether you agree with what Angela Davis, PhD, has to say, or with her political stances. either watch this as part of an educatioal discussion, or move on to something else. Name clling is simply childish and immature.
