How many children do you know that have said to a teacher "What are you going to do, you can't touch me" when they have misbehaved? Perhaps a little over the top, but, a middle ground wouldn't be so bad in my opinion. A lot of problems could be solved by simply disciplining children / young adults properly / military service. Teaching people at a young age rules and regulations and consequences. It's far to easy now to do something wrong and walk away with a slap on the hand.
