If Ulrezaj was the Dark Voice, why didn't he have Hybrids in The Dark Templar Saga to deal with killing Zamara? And why was Maar feeding off the preservers instead of killing them outright? It doesn't match with the goal of getting rid of every preserver that exists.
Also, the portrait for the Dark voice already looks nothing like Ulrezaj, and even less so when you enhance the lighting.
Just like the Xel'Naga did. They saved their asses by running not by making the final stand. And now the Dark Voice (Fallen One is Xel'Naga for me) is haunting everyone down. So you see who is smarter Protoss vs Xel'Naga. I'm fan of Dark Voice and his vengeance.

for fun I used cheats for infinite resources, and just spammed Zealots, Reapers and Cruisers, after about 30 minutes on brutal its just a constant stream of millions of Zerg and a constant stream of thousands of protoss all slaughtering the zerg at the top of the stairs, I swear to god with Two Steps From Hell blaring out of my speakers it was the most epic moment in all of gaming history! xD
It is important to remember my friends, this is only a prophecy of what will happen if Kerrigan dies. Because she is alive, this future will not come to pass. Exactly what role she will play in stopping the Dark Voice - I do not know.
I suspect she will free the Zerg from their directive to destroy the Protoss. Maybe that's what waits at the end of Heart of the Swarm.
I wonder if the Voice in the Darkness spoke to Mengsk and told him to kill Kerrigan. It must have foresaw Kerrigan's power to stop it. Also, Mengsk had that secret lab were he was cloning hybrids.
@lynx09 The Dark Voice wasn't made by Duran's experiments, it is much too old. The Overmind called it the Fallen one so Zeratul thinks it might be an evil Xel'Naga. It was the one who instructed Duran to breed hybrids. I think it told Mengsk to do the same thing and to kill Kerrigan.

@NoobSnoopy The Earth Directory (UED) in brood wars get's destroyed by the Dominion. Read the SCII summary in the instruction book (I was bored and found it.) The UED was never that big, and was fully wiped out by Kerrigan after being defeated by the Dominion.

You were claiming that adun was the dark voice. Also, about Duran in the secret mission of broodwar, Duran was found to be making hybrids. Since the merging of the Zerg and Protoss is supposed to recreate the Xel'naga, many are suspicious that Duran is a surviving Xel'naga. And on a side note, some are supicious that Narud is Duran; Since Narud is Duran backwards.
@Mageziya The Dark Voice is NOT Duran. The Hybrids are NOT what the Xel'Naga look like. The Dark Voice is a fallen Xel'Naga that simply did not agree with what his race was doing when they created the Zerg and Protoss. So it took over the Overminds thoughts and turned the Zerg on the Xel'Naga and slaughtered them all. He created the Hybrids in HIS image, not the Xel'Nagas (we don't even know what they WOULD'VE looked like because they never got that far before getting killed off).
We do sorta know what the Xel'naga look like. In the cutscene where Zeratul fights Kerrigan, one of the engravings near the beginng shows what a Xel'naga probably looks like. It short of has the headshape (Frill? Crest?) of Hybrid Reavers and the Psionic tentacle of Hybrid Destroyers.
Also the Xel'naga "created" the Zerg and Protoss so that their race would be recreated after it would fall , like all races do, through the mergeing of the two.

I wonder just what kind of beasties we'll be fighting when Legacy of the Void is released? I imagine that by that time, more Hybrid will probably be waking up. The story is about Zeratul becoming the new leader of the Protoss people - uniting them into one single faction to ensure their survival.
Those freaky Hybrid are scattered throughout the Galaxy, so I think we're definitely going to be seeing more and more of them as time goes on.

In Utter Darkness is great example how could be done the mission "New Gettysburg" in Starcraft 1.
New Gettysburg: You can have that strong defence that you can "save" Kerrigan.
In Utter Darkness: You can have how strong defence but it will fall.
But I would like a version where I can attack the zerg base, maybe Hybrid base. And destroy it. :D And win.

You were claiming that adun was the dark voice. Also, about Duran in the secret mission of broodwar, Duran was found to be making hybrids. Since the merging of the Zerg and Protoss is supposed to recreate the Xel'naga, many are suspicious that Duran is a surviving Xel'naga. And on a side note, some are supicious that Narud is Duran; Since Narud is Duran backwards.

@Mageziya The Dark Voice is NOT Duran. The Hybrids are NOT what the Xel'Naga look like. The Dark Voice is a fallen Xel'Naga that simply did not agree with what his race was doing when they created the Zerg and Protoss. So it took over the Overminds thoughts and turned the Zerg on the Xel'Naga and slaughtered them all. He created the Hybrids in HIS image, not the Xel'Nagas (we don't even know what they WOULD'VE looked like because they never got that far before getting killed off).

We do sorta know what the Xel'naga look like. In the cutscene where Zeratul fights Kerrigan, one of the engravings near the beginng shows what a Xel'naga probably looks like. It short of has the headshape (Frill? Crest?) of Hybrid Reavers and the Psionic tentacle of Hybrid Destroyers.
Also the Xel'naga "created" the Zerg and Protoss so that their race would be recreated after it would fall , like all races do, through the mergeing of the two.

I like how the overmind is voiced just like the one from SC1, but what i hate about it in SC2 is that the Overmind is suppose to be a "brain-like Entity" not a giant eye ball, theres suppose to be a giant brain. They fucked up on that id say.

@SXsoft99 They're probably not gonna make it equal to protoss and terran. Probably not a playable race at all, but possibly a new enemy. But it's not the ENTIRE race, it's possibly only one Xel'naga commanding the Zerg and the Hybrids. The Fallen One (The possible Xel'naga you see as the red glowing eyes in the shadow) betrayed the others because they disagreed on his image of the new Xel'naga in their cycle. And sent the zerg to kill some of them. And it's "XEL'NAGA" not "ZELL'NAGA"
