Not trying to rip on Washington or anything, but I think the producers made him seem a little too gallant. It was pretty sad when he lost his eyesight though. Great animation, helped a lot w/ some ideas on my project. Thanks!

@Fujikorific I heard somewhere that he really did hug people when he said goodbye at the tavern. Is that true? But you're right. It probably wasn't Hamilton :)

@canadarox14 He and Hamilton had a falling out before the war ended and Hamilton vacated his post as aide de camp. It's believed that Hamilton did not attend this final meeting with Washington and his officers, there's no documented evidence he was there. Lafayette tried to heal the rift between them...obviously they had somewhat patched it up by the time Washington's presidency rolled around. They respected and perhaps even loved each other, but like a parent and child, had their problems.
