I agree with most of this video but I don't see how the mind can travel outside the body and read inside envelopes. I see the secret as humans reading other peoples body language which is controlled by the subconscious in both doing and most often in reading others. We evolved for tens of millions of years as social animals reading each others body language on very subtle levels before we as a species ever talked so we got really good at using body language to describe what we need or want.

@arashcom Well there is only one mind and that mind has two distinct functions, one conscious and for lack of better terms one subconscious or below conscious. Do you consciously have to think about every beat of your heart, or the heat regulation of your body or each step in digestion...no because your subsoncious does these things automatically. @taintofsaidin Yes, there are thousands of scientific papers that have been published over the last 150 years, on the effects of suggestion, especially as it pertains to hypnosis, which have lead researchers to conclude, that the subconscious part of the mind does not hear words like not, shouldn't, can't and similar negatives. So if a suggestion says I shouldn't allow myself to over eat, your deeper mind hears I should allow myself to over eat, and so on. You can google these papers on-line.
@branchingvine Well I'm sure the subconscious hears negative words, it may not just register to the degree that the content does. I mean then saying "I have no money" would be "I have money". Its not always the actual wording you say, but rather the meaning that the phrase resonates within you. That's why you have to simultaneously visualize the positive statements you make.
ok, so answer me this.. lets say i take the time to write out a list. the list will say things like: "I am comfortable in social situations," and "I will get good grades," and "I will not get angry at work," and so on... and i keep this list with me everyday, and repeat what's on the list multiple times a day. Will this 'reprogram' my subconscious to begin making the things on my list a reality? i just want to clarify that.
@taintofsaidin yes and no...yes if you word the seggestions correctly, but no if in correctly. For example, the subconscious does not process negatives so if you say ""I will not get angry at work," it the word not will be ignored and it will program you to get angry. a better phrasing would be, "I am free of anger at work." or something like that. Other than these minor changes, the answer to your question is yes, but you must be consistant and not give-up too soon.
@taintofsaidin You have to say the affirmations with strong faith and emotion. If you don't, you can say the affirmations a thousand times a day and they won't do anything for you. To get good grades, you will have to study without a doubt. But, repeating a positive affirmation that you will do fine on the test, will help you with the relaxation and confidence you need to think clear and sharp while taking the test. I would switch the work affirmation to something like
@taintofsaidin "I'm at peace (or calm) when I'm at work" or "I love my job. There are so many aspects of it to be grateful for." If you say "I won't be angry at work", this just won't do the trick because by repeating that affirmation you'll be thinking about anger instead of peace which is the state of mind you want. When people are naturally happy they think things like "I love my life", they don't think "I'm not gonna hate my life."

@Zipinq To begin with, everything on this video is true. Jesus himself taught everything this video talked about, and we see its laws and principles throught the scriptures in hidden form. Secondly, I personally fell people as a whole would be better of without organized "religion" and "Church", which to my mind are merely institutions for mass mind control. @papa26pinto1 A better question to ask...what parent who loves their children unconditionally will try to force them to live the life they desire for them if the children do not desire to do so? A loving parent will allow the child the freedom to choose their own path to live. If that child chooses then to have nothing to do with that parent, while the parent may grieve, the parent will love those children enough to respect those boundaries and permit the child to live the consequences of it.

I'm not sure about this. While it certainly doesn't hurt to think and even believe that good things are going to happen in your life. I fully believed that I could become a professional racecar driver and was touted by some as the nations top privateer in a pro racing sport however that did not bring me the millions of dollars or someone who had the dollars to make that happen hasn't come to fruition. Not that it still couldn't happen. Does hypnosis subvert prayer or open door that is dangerous.
@pgfracing Hypnosis does not subvert prayer, in fact hypnosis is symply another state of mind all people experience everyday usually more than once without realizing that is the mental state in which hypnosis is. Hypnosis can actually greatly help prayer and increase the speed by which many are answered. Hypnosis of itself is neither good nor evil, just like all phenomana in nature. It depends on it's aplication and intent that it is one or the other or whether it will open "doors" or not.

@arashcom Well there is only one mind and that mind has two distinct functions, one conscious and for lack of better terms one subconscious or below conscious. Do you consciously have to think about every beat of your heart, or the heat regulation of your body or each step in digestion...no because your subsoncious does these things automatically. When you do something at first consciously enough it becomes automatic and passes into subconscious response, driving and shoe tying are examples.

@taintofsaidin Yes, there are thousands of scientific papers that have been published over the last 150 years, on the effects of suggestion, especially as it pertains to hypnosis, which have lead researchers to conclude, that the subconscious part of the mind does not hear words like not, shouldn't, can't and similar negatives. So if a suggestion says I shouldn't allow myself to over eat, your deeper mind hears I should allow myself to over eat, and so on. You can google these papers on-line.

@branchingvine Well I'm sure the subconscious hears negative words, it may not just register to the degree that the content does. I mean then saying "I have no money" would be "I have money". Its not always the actual wording you say, but rather the meaning that the phrase resonates within you. That's why you have to simultaneously visualize the positive statements you make.

ok, so answer me this.. lets say i take the time to write out a list. the list will say things like: "I am comfortable in social situations," and "I will get good grades," and "I will not get angry at work," and so on... and i keep this list with me everyday, and repeat what's on the list multiple times a day. Will this 'reprogram' my subconscious to begin making the things on my list a reality? i just want to clarify that.

@taintofsaidin yes and no...yes if you word the seggestions correctly, but no if in correctly. For example, the subconscious does not process negatives so if you say ""I will not get angry at work," it the word not will be ignored and it will program you to get angry. a better phrasing would be, "I am free of anger at work." or something like that. Other than these minor changes, the answer to your question is yes, but you must be consistant and not give-up too soon.

@taintofsaidin You have to say the affirmations with strong faith and emotion. If you don't, you can say the affirmations a thousand times a day and they won't do anything for you. To get good grades, you will have to study without a doubt. But, repeating a positive affirmation that you will do fine on the test, will help you with the relaxation and confidence you need to think clear and sharp while taking the test. I would switch the work affirmation to something like

If you say "I won't be angry at work", this just won't do the trick because by repeating that affirmation you'll be thinking about anger instead of peace which is the state of mind you want. When people are naturally happy they think things like "I love my life", they don't think "I'm not gonna hate my life."

Secondly, I personally fell people as a whole would be better of without organized "religion" and "Church", which to my mind are merely institutions for mass mind control. John, in the Epistles of John painly states: "He that loveth not, knoweth NOT GOD, for GOD IS LOVE. Paul wrote to corinth that Love keeps no record of wrong. But God does judges us according to our actions (deeds). Just because God extends mercy...dosen't mean he will look the other way when we abuse His mercy. The New Testament explains God's judgement. When Christ Comes again...he Comes as King and Judge. We are judge according by Christ's Words. There is no exception

Given that the universe is endless with infinite possibilities why would only humans be condemned for our so called sins? So Christians say God loves us no matter what and is a forgiving God? @papa26pinto1 A better question to ask...what parent who loves their children unconditionally will try to force them to live the life they desire for them if the children do not desire to do so? A loving parent will allow the child the freedom to choose their own path to live. If that child chooses then to have nothing to do with that parent, while the parent may grieve, the parent will love those children enough to respect those boundaries and permit the child to live the consequences of it.

I'm not sure about this. While it certainly doesn't hurt to think and even believe that good things are going to happen in your life. I fully believed that I could become a professional racecar driver and was touted by some as the nations top privateer in a pro racing sport however that did not bring me the millions of dollars or someone who had the dollars to make that happen hasn't come to fruition. Not that it still couldn't happen. Does hypnosis subvert prayer or open door that is dangerous.

@pgfracing Hypnosis does not subvert prayer, in fact hypnosis is symply another state of mind all people experience everyday usually more than once without realizing that is the mental state in which hypnosis is. Hypnosis can actually greatly help prayer and increase the speed by which many are answered. Hypnosis of itself is neither good nor evil, just like all phenomana in nature. It depends on it's aplication and intent that it is one or the other or whether it will open "doors" or not.
