Olivia is now four years old. I told her about all the comments and she loves the attention. She is still really clever. She is into surfing the net now adays - luckily all kids sites at this stage as she has'nt quite worked out google yet! She does know how to put usernames and passwords in sites and reads a lot of the content on them. She is top of her class at nursary school and starts school in January, which she is excited about.

She taught herself. She was only 1 1/2 when I fimled this. She is now 2 1/2. She is VERY clever now. She can spell her whole name (middle and surname included), can count, and can sing the entire alphabet. She speaks like most 5 year olds. I am very proud of my little girl, and hope her little brother who was born last week ends up being just as clever!
Reginamelise - Sorry I think I might have accidentally deleted your previous comment and cant figure out how to put it back! In answer to your question about your little 13 month old girl (I think you said 13 months!)
I suggest you just talk to your little girl like you are talking to an adult, and sing lots of songs to her. Omega 3 is essential for growing brains and not enough children this age get it. I think this might have contributed to her intelligence level as we had been giving her fish oil since about 6 months old.
We used to play her lots of song CDs in her bedroom and she mostly learned from these, although now adays she chooses them and plays them herself. She is in to Doctor Who at the moment - go figure - a two year old into SciFi!
thank you for your response to my questions. Although my daughter is 13 months I dont think its too late to start with the supplements that you have suggested. I read about them and her pediatrician recommended it but I never followed through with it....I will now.....
i could do that :D

That is pretty amazing that she can spell her own name. It seems that her parents aren't quite as clever (unless her name really is Olvia?)
