Why is this titled SMILE? It's a contradictory to what we hear or see in the game. The people we know in game are actually faking smiles while they are actually sad. Only when it reaches rank 10 they understand themselves.
I leaving a job that I stay for 3 years, I make some real good friends there, and probably I'll never see them again...when I hear this song, I feels just like the main character of the game when he's leaving the city and left friends for life in Inaba. It just so sad...

Since no victims came from his "rescue" activities he had no way of knowing he was sending them to their death. Izanami is neither good nor evil. She merely did what humanity asked of her which is similar to Nyx. Nyx delievered the death humanity seeked and Izanami offered an escape to those who seeked to those who didn't want to face the truth of reality. They both only acted on the wishes of humanity.
@LeonGun8 Adachi however was just a scumbag who was only interested in self-satisfaction. He found pleasure in killing those who refused him and in tricking others. Of course, the first time he had no idea (which is likely why he felt sick) but later he was more than willing to kill if necessary.
I didn't start to smile until 0:43. Thank you, Atlus, for making such an awesome game that surpasses CoD. That surpasses Final Fantasy. That surpasses every game in existence. You guys rock. :d

this song has such an emotional tie for me. And I guess now is a good time to listen to it too. College is going to start soon, and who knows what girls I'll meet? This song reminds me of the warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you are just so happy to be in a relationship, and have someone you can trust. The feeling when you are watching the clouds with her and you become one.
The Social Links in 4 are soooo much more deep than in 3. Bunkichi and Mitsuo are like "dead son, tree, bad pun" and in Persona 4 it seems more about acceptance and free will. Like Yukiko's isn't just "LOL BAD COOKING" she actually kinda has problems figuring out her life. And I really liked how Naoki kinda hated you at first and then you really learn about what he really goes through.

To be honest I find it hard to smile because when I listen to this deeply I start to cry. It makes you warm inside but emotionally you feel sad to all the sad things that things that has happened in your life. God bless the artist. :')
Almost completely forgot about this song until I started replaying P4 last night. I don't know how Meguro does it, but songs like this just make you feel lucky to be alive. Nice to listen to whatever the situation.
I loved this song... until I watched a video someone posted of maxing out everyone's Social Links, and this plays for all of them... without fail. Sometimes, the same part repeats when it shouldn't. It's a good song, but that flaw made me get really sick of it after a while.

this game, series, and developers are the reason why i dont play or purchase any final fantasy games anymore. in terms of concept, story, and characters final fantasy is like a small lunch compared to shin megami tensei series which is like a 5 course meal. be on the look out for the newest game they are working on called "Catherine", go watch the trailer it will give you goosebumps
I think the two dislikes are fake. Because I've found myself accidentally hitting the dislike button a couple of times. Then I'd come back the next day, and fix it. Then the next, and the next, and the next. Until I fell I've made up for that mistake.
Persona-games really do make the player care for what's going on. When I finished P3, the credits felt like I was saying goodbye to good friends instead of just beating another game. The feeling was even stronger with P4. Not many games can do that.
It may sound funny, but during those long hours I used on both of the games I felt I got to know the characters. They were just a bunch of ordinary students, which I find much more easy to relate to than a bunch of black mages, thieves and warriors.
@tubeshark OMG! That's exactly how I feel!!! I kinda feel like they are all real people... And I wish I knew a Chie, or a Kanji in real life... I find myself laughing when watching them... And P4 is more "realistic" than P3 so the feeling is very strong...
I have yet to beat the final boss in P4 and I'm delaying it for days now...
First I leveled up the ones I don't use... Then I decide to learn Pralaya... And then to fill the compendum a little more... xD
@Nahlim88 Out of all the characters in the two games I'd most likely hang out with Yosuke and Junpei. And Kanji and Chie of course. Those four are just amazing personalities, and it's hard to believe that they would be just made-up characters.
Actually...I wonder if the characters have their real-life counterparts, like family or friends of the makers. They all just seem so real.

When I finished P4 and got the true ending, I couldn't help but feel really sad instead of happy and accomplished. It was like "but I don't want the game to end yet!" No matter how many times you play it through, you get attached to every single character all over again.
Atlus really knew how to capture its fan's hearts.
@tubeshark Yeah. I felt that as I rescue each of them, I began to realise that everyone of us in real life, has these kind of sides. Jealousy, Loneliness, that we do not show it out to people. Sometimes I thought it must be just me & I felt that I'm so evil. But I realised that we all do have such sides in ourselves, and perhaps, this game made me realise more about facing it & accepting it as a part of me (: I felt great playing this game & realising I'm not alone.
thats a good thing though, SMT's first attempt at the next gen console is a persona game, they can do so much more with the tech than they could with the Ps2. Characters can talk and have facial expressions maybe
And yes. Persona 5 as a title has been officially announced. Nothing has been planned though on what will they add in the new gen game but i heard rumors that it's going to be in ps3. i dont know. i kind of like if it's going to be in ps2 considering that oh-so-many people bought the p3 and p4 on ps2 and that ps3 specially in many countries isn't popular cause of many existing reasons. ..
But WTF.... there's persona 5 in development so let's just rejoice and relive the Most Awesome Game!

@tubeshark Oh man, basically everything I feel right here.
When I finished P4 and got the true ending, I couldn't help but feel really sad instead of happy and accomplished. It was like "but I don't want the game to end yet!" No matter how many times you play it through, you get attached to every single character all over again.
Atlus really knew how to capture its fan's hearts.

@tubeshark Yeah. I felt that as I rescue each of them, I began to realise that everyone of us in real life, has these kind of sides. Jealousy, Loneliness, that we do not show it out to people. Sometimes I thought it must be just me & I felt that I'm so evil. But I realised that we all do have such sides in ourselves, and perhaps, this game made me realise more about facing it & accepting it as a part of me (: I felt great playing this game & realising I'm not alone.

thats a good thing though, SMT's first attempt at the next gen console is a persona game, they can do so much more with the tech than they could with the Ps2. Characters can talk and have facial expressions maybe

And yes. Persona 5 as a title has been officially announced. Nothing has been planned though on what will they add in the new gen game but i heard rumors that it's going to be in ps3. i dont know. i kind of like if it's going to be in ps2 considering that oh-so-many people bought the p3 and p4 on ps2 and that ps3 specially in many countries isn't popular cause of many existing reasons. ..
But WTF.... there's persona 5 in development so let's just rejoice and relive the Most Awesome Game!
