  • @RandomLoves11 That is definitely not a Sousaphone. Sousaphones are a type of tuba that is used in a marching band. They are the ones that wrap around your body. Plus they don't have 4 valves. I'm pretty sure he knows what instrument he plays too...

  • I have the same exact baritone in my band class but we only use 3 valve :P

  • @threefootman The fourth is a compensating valve. If you learn different fingerings from the normal 3 valve system (which can still be used on a 4 valve instrument), it will play certain notes (usually those that incorporate the 3rd valve) more in tune than using the usual valve combinations.
