i think a 250 is the way to go they have alot of power but once u learn to control it there funn and u can set up the suspension to fit you like im 16 5 10 and 140 and ii ride a 2008 kx 85 im way to big for it n im moving to a 2009 yz250 ive rode it a couple times and its amazing and the thing with 250 u can race it for long time :) like i have a year left on my 85 thats it then i have to move up

Get a 250F in my opinion. You can get your suspension set up for you. The best 250F for someone your size is prob the KTM.
