i am not defending saddam or the crimes he committed, he most definately deserved punishment for that 1) it wasnt for america to do so 2) he wasnt convicted in weapons of mass destruction or chemical weapons case, of which false pretext USA invaded iraq, but he was hanged for war crimes done during the period when USA was a close ally of his and american secretaries of home n defense etc were a frequent flier to him, so in that context even the USA should be held guilty n its leaders also hanged
