@Cngwt96 i guess you got to find a basketball that works for you. i actually like the rubber basketballs much better than the leather ones, better grip for spinning. My new favorite is Nike Dominate

@monkeybomb42 I started to spin basketballs after graduating from college here in USA at the College of Saint Rose, in Albany NY. It only takes a little while to learn how to spin a little while, but to be good with all the spinning tricks and to do it without messing up in a live show takes time :) Happy New Year!

This is really helpful :P, I managed to learn how to spin it on my finger, but only for a few seconds, but i'll practice, practice, practice. :D. Guys just so you know, most of my friends and me learn it easier by spinning the ball on your finger so starting with your finger rather than the nail is a lot easier.

@theTJster100 i learned to spin first on my finger, but it DEFINITELY spins better on the nail. cannot have it too long or too short... too short will bleed and too ling will break :)

@gerrardfan27 I've been able to spin a ball for years and it works but I don't think I do it right I use both hands to spin it and then catch it on my nail and then it goes for a good 10 secodns or more. When I try and hit it it falls off though and I wonder if that's due to not spinning fast enough.

@beyblades13 you are just have to learn to hit it at the right time so your hit really goes together with the "original" spin :)
