  • i really hope you give this a try.

its organic, raw,its just great product. i love it!

you can put them in smoothies, yogurt, juices, anything!

  • i think it was kicking out their website i tried to post here.

anyways, you can find local health food store and they could prob explain about them i just love the convenience of getting enough veggies and fruit without going to the store all the time, even you prefer juicing i recommend to have them handy so if you are out of veggies one day you can still get enough nutrition.green taste great w apple juice( i was told not to use citrus juice) and not to take fruit n green together.

  • ok, this time it did so here it goes.

i recommend this vitamin powder i use, GREEN and Fruit of the earth!!!!!

its called GREEN and fruits of the earth from healthforce nutritionals

  • it won't let me leave a comment....hmmm

  • I used to have the same juicer until I gave it to a friend and upgraded to one that is a bit more gentle on the fruit and veg. as centrifugal juicers tend to be a bit too harsh and said to destroy more of the goodness than masticating juicers.

It's a good place to start though!

    Love you!

  • Hi Lana! I checked out DAN the MAN and love him! I just went raw and LOVE IT. I feel so much better and after three weeks lost my cravings for sweets and lost 15 lbs! You are awesome and I hope your hubby is doing okay!

  • I am so very happy to see you taking care of your health and that you are no longer sneaking bologna sandwiches in the closet ( or where ever it was )...you are so motivating! that we got are juicer yesterday...LOVE it... I want to say I feel better already but I just know no one would believe me...can not thank you enough for sharing!!! continued prayers for you and your husband1xoxo

  • You might also want to consider buying a high powered blender because they will blend your veggies and fruit and keep the pulp which provides fiber. We need fiber in our diets. The popular blenders are Vitamix but they are expensive. I just heard about an Omni blender. The celebrity nutritionist that will change your life is Kimberly Snyder. Google her. She has an awesome blog and wrote a book called Beauty Detox. Good luck and hope your husband makes a full recovery.

  • That sure is a yummy lookin' salad made by a girl who claims not to cook! ;) xo

  • Check out Mimi Kirk she is 72 and eating raw. Beautiful person whom has changed my life. She has videos on Youtube.

  • Lana- can you give me some juicer recipes... your fav veggies drink and fav fruit drink

looks great-cant wait to hear your fav

  • i am going to get a juicer too. i have lupus and i have a full time job at the hospital and never have enough engery. Thanks lana!!! good luck and you look gorgeous!

  • Lana - you are glowing. Are you by any chance an A+ blood type? After several months of low carb and no weight loss, I've decided that's not working for my body. Been reading about eating for my blood type, which theorizes that A+ blood types do best on a veggie diet. You've provided fresh inspiration. Healing prayers for your beloved.xxoo

  • .... Let me add the different chemicals we smell in cleaning products etc also!

  • @jushave2say breathing in these toxic chemicals can't be good either. I know we can't live in a bubble but we need to do what we can to stay healthy as we can.

  • Hey Lana, My husband and I have been discussing this same issue since I got Kidney cancer. Also I have had 5 of my friends or family members that have some sort of cancer breast, ovarian, lung, brain and terminal cancer. So yes I'm with you I HATE cancer with every inch of my being! I often wonder now if it doesn't come from processed, artificial dyes, fat free, etc. foods. We also have been eating more fruits and veggies.I too want to invest in a good juicer. I want to kick all cancer in the butt too!

  • Does this really keep you full? I need to have a breakfast that lasts me at least five hours. If I'm starving, I can't function. Juice really keeps you full?

  • I would love to juice too but fresh veg (can't have fruit diabetic) here is a ridiculous price so we try and eat as much as we can. Fresh beetroot is supposed to be really good for fighting off cancer so I read somewhere, and the more colourfull your plate of food is the better. Can't wait for Henry to be able to eat soon :0) xxxJoolsxxx

  • If you soft- hard food wise it will be much easier to clean the blade

  • Yes, try the vitamixer. My husband and I do a delicious green smoothie most days and we've got it to be amazingly good tasting. and best of all its so healthy and still has lots of fiber!

  • My mom is a nurse, and one of the doctors she worked with was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After the chemo and other traditional treatments didn't work, he decided to try diet. He went vegan, and his cancer completely disappeared. He is a vegan to this day, and is cancer free! My mom is not a big fan of vegetarian/vegan diets, but even she knows that there is something to it. All the best to you and your husband!!

  • this looks so good. I try to eat 2 raw meals a day or health, i just feel so much better when I do. Have you tried green smoothies or marinated kale salads? Super foods, I hope you try them!

  • Good for you Lana :) I hate processed foods myself but we havne't been able to do away with all of them. We do, however, have our own garden, and my parents raise their own meat.........deer, squirrel, chickens, etc. so you can't get much more "raw" than that lol. I hope you continue to feel better and so does Henry! Lots of love, Sammie

  • I always say, God made the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve. No wonder we feel better eating fruits and vegetables. Thanks for reminding me to keep eating what my body recognizes. :)

  • Very inspirational Lana- makes me want to run out and buy a juicer. How long have you been drinking these juices and how much have you lost?

  • Hi Lana..I love your channel so much, I like the new ideas of sharing different stuff from make up and beauty. please check this BBC video about benefits of cooked carrots over raw carrots..you may change your mind..:).x

    news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7998801.stm

  • Ahhh! I cannot wait to get one this weekend. I'm more excited over it than buying a pair of new shoes. :D Need to narrow down a few brands. Yours definitely does the job so I'll look into that one too.

The salad looks awesome and delish!

~Would straining the juice through a very fine strainer or cheese cloth make it tolerable for your husband? :)

  • thank you for sharing this, you inspire me to make some inportant changes to my diet, one's that may prolong my life! All the very best to you & hubby. xx

  • Great video Lana! You should do more juicer videos with diff. types of juices, I'm also thinking of purchasing a juicer..can't wait to start making healthy drinks. =)

  • Thank you Lana!

  • This looks yummy.

  • Hope you're using Organic veggies! Happy your husband is getting better! :)

  • I have a Jack La Lane juicer. it is really great as well. I love to juice fresh pineapple and every fresh fruit that is available (in season is cheaper). Such a good plan!

  • Lana I am so happy to see your new way of life!! Just a couple of tips - an even healthier way it to actually make a smoothie with all the ingredients (using kale, romaine ;ettuce, avocado etc)..Vitamix's are great!!

The pulp has a lot of nutrients and essential fiber. This is what will help Henry dramatically. You should get Kris Carr's crazy sexy cancer book or even better watch her documentary and see what she has done to fight cancer....

  • Love you Lana!

Thanks for showing us all how you do your drinks and dinner! Xoxo

  • Thank you Lana. A kind friend bought my a juicer yesterday while out shopping for food. Cheers! Heres to better health and greater juicy creativity! Jxx

  • Careful with a raw diet like this. I've been reading everything I can find about juicing/raw diets... often, people experience teeth demineralization, sores in the mouth, gum disease etc. from this type of diet when used exclusively.

  • You have inspired me to go out and buy a juicer,Lana!

  • Hi Lana! You have inspired me and some of my co-workers! I'm bringing the juicer I have at home collecting dust to work tomorrow and were all juicing! Thank you! <3

  • Hi Lana, I've been watching your videos for a while and have an immense respect for you.

I've not tried this for more than a day or two yet, but what you say is identical to what @lizyartur has been trying for about a year now - all raw vegetables and fruit.

She is absolutely fantastic and recommends this book called 80-10-10. I've got no interest in recommending her, but she is just so amazing and has been doing really great on a raw vegan lifestyle.

All the best to you & your husband! xox

  • Watch out for the vitamix. It doesn't take the pulp out, You wind up with a pudding like saucy juice, which I don't care for. Lana, you are a total inspiration and I'm sorry you are going through this. You really do light the way for people though. Thanks.

  • Great! Pulp is good, too!!!

  • Oh no Lana none of it is a waste. You can turn all of that so call "waste" pulp into a paste and marinate your fishes/meats. I know you want to stop eating meats but even so try doing other things with it than throwing it away. I have made carrot bread with the pulp from my juicer Yummy!! . Jack Lalannes juicer comes with a recipes book that shows you what other things you can make with the pulp. I'm sure you can get the recipe book alone without buying the juicer, but don't throw the pulp away.

  • @SuchaCaligrrl

I was wondering about all that pulp,,,, are there any vitamins left once all that juice is taken out?

  • @Ravey100 = Most definitely, they say that the most nutrients in vegetables and many other foods is found on the skin. Example carrots should not be peeled only washed, the same with rice/beans cleaned but not washed. I find myself sometimes having to peel my veggies just because they look prettier... Yeah sad but true we eat with our eyes and swallow with our mouth =) if that makes sense.

  • Great tip.

  • Then you toss the pulp into a meatloaf ... or stock. Juiceman Juicer is what we have - get that recipe book ;D If you have a farm give the pulp to the chickens - or lil pigs, etc...

  • I've been drinking barley, beet and carrot juice for awhile and replace a second meal with the best healthy protein shake. Does make a huge difference! :)

  • @coquibaby = Add some fresh ginger root in your juice. Yummmyyy! 10 x healthier a little goes a long way just don't over do it, it can get spicy.

  • Oops with the pulp and a dehydrator!

  • You can make raw crackers with the pul

  • lol, you have the same strainer and glasses as I do.

  • Your doing awesome!! But how about just using cold pressed olive oil n organic vinegar? My fav is Greek:)

  • What a great adventure you're on. I've been trying to eliminate processed foods from my diet too - without a lot of success. I have young children which definitely makes in challenging. I look forward to seeing your progress. I'm sure you're already familiar with Liz Y'Artur here on youtube but just in case, be sure to check her out.

  • Salad looks fantastic and I love the Breville products as well, they're great!

  • Putting beets makes it super sweet and good. And beets are very healthy as well.

  • Hi Lana, first of all, so good to see you back and I continue to pray for your husbands recovery. I do have a question about your new routine, besides the almonds and seeds on the salad, what other sources of protein do you use/eat? Tammy from Uppiesbeads59 juices also...have you seen her. Peace & love to you!

  • Hey Lana!! I've been watching your videos foreveerrrr but this was great! I've gone raw for a few weeks at a time which felt amazing. I try to get a shot of wheat grass juice as much as a can but I think you'll love my favorite juicing recipe! Try apples, kale, celery, and a lemon (putting the skin through the juicer makes the juice a little less "fresh" tasting). Anyways, love you and all of your videos!

    -Grace :)

  • I think you are going to change a LOT of people's lives on here, well done, xxx

  • Yum! I think I need a juicer in my life!! xo

  • Comment removed

  • I 'm seriously considering buying a juicer too, just want to find a good one that isn't too expensive, if that's possible.

So glad to see you looking happy, say Hi to Henry for us :)

  • Lana I just wanted to thank you! We just got back from Macy's where we bought our juicer. We tried it ASAP and it is Soooooooooo delish. I showed your video to my husband and we started researching the juicers (got the Breville ). My husband had surgery for lymphoma in his stomach when he was 40. He just turned 59! We don't eat meat and eat very healthy, but this is just an awesome addition .. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! You are so awesome to think of others!

    Michelle

  • For heaven's sakes, you really look fantastic. The weight loss even shows on your face but you don't look gaunt at all. I have been kicking around the idea of a juicer and you may have tipped the scales finally. Thanks, Lana!

  • Thanks for sharing Lana you take such good care of us ♥

  • i loved when u went to put the first carrot in and i think your dog or something barked in the background, it sounded like the carrots were going 'nooooo!!' at going in the juicer!

  • Hi Lana how long ago did you get your juicer, I am having a hard time finding it at Macys online. You've made a believer out of me. I am very anxious to give this a try. Hugs and thanks for sharing your story. I wish your husband a speedy recovery. All the best my dear.

  • I hate fast food!!It't horrible!

i love eating healthy and I've been having veggie soup and fruits smoothies for a while . Since when I feel much better as well. I really think its important at least once a week to have a soup with all kinds of veggies and stuff that you normally don't eat and its good for your body. We don't eat all the necessary vitamins everyday ,no wonder ppl get sick!

  • what kind of juiceer is that? anyone know, I WANT~~~ :)

  • @stuffstuffstuffyay It's a Breville Juice Plus Fountain. I got it at Macy's on sale $299 to $131.

I love it. Everyone seems to love the Vita-Mix as well so check into that one too.

    Good Luck!

  • @lanaindiana thanks lana!!! i have some macys giftcards too! yay and they are in store across town.. it was this or the champion one i found on craiglist.. i cant decide which! arg. thanks for help!!!

  • That salad looks amazing! To bad I probley couldnt eat it without alot of dressing!

  • Lana - CalicoCatMissPeachs is right the VITA mixer is the best - we've been juicing for years, it can shred a kitchen sink it's so powerful and you need the pulp! We do a fruit one and a veggie one... I love the KALE we call them the "lawn mower" - add a apple to the greens one and its sweet... good luck!

  • Hi! Lana,

Try Thai Papaya salad, very healthy and very yummy.

Or a ripe papaya with some lime juice sprinkled over it.

    Have a great day.

    Jeannette♥

  • @lilawadiflower I will! That sounds yummy and healthy.

  • Happy to see that you've discoverded the mediterranean food after 56 years... we put olive oil, we don't know what it is the dressing for the salads, we just add olive oil and vinager. Have you tried papaya? it has a lot of antioxidant in it.

  • Great video! I made organic healthy muffins with all that leftover pulp; they turn out great, I eat them at work because I cannot juice at work, I read that you should drink the juice pretty soon after making it, so what ideas does anyone have when someone has to work all day? Thanks!

  • Careful with the almonds if you have any dental work. Almonds are the reason I have 4 dental crowns now. You can find "skinless almonds" which are kinder to dental work. My dentist says he loves the almond craze Lol.

  • Great video series! Lana, you can start a compost pile with the pulp. A small pile in your backyard - away from the house though. There are plenty of directions online about starting a compost. When springtime comes around, you'll have veggie and fruit fertilizer to use on your garden. ~ Susan

  • Lana, thank you so much for sharing this with us, I've always wondered about drinking fresh juice, and in your part 1 video, your research fines on diet and cancer really move me in putting some fresh goodness into my daily life by drinking a vegetable juice or two each day. I will def go check out those pulp free juicer and start a healthy RAW habit too! hugsxx

  • tell the truth, at first were you scared when you started that puppy up? I hear only good things about this diet but that seems a lot of waste. Others here have suggested the vitamix which would make more fiber so I will look into that. As if you had to lose weight! Your perfect.

  • thank you for showing this! all the best for u and your husband!

  • SO happy to see you are making all these positive changes in your diet Lana! When your husband gets on this diet he DEFINITELY will benefit from it. Another thing you might want to look into is making green smoothies using a blender. I have been making these almost daily for the past few years and have seen major improvement in my health. I recently purchased the VitaMix. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Take care and god bless. xx

  • You look so good for you AGE!!! Will you please do a video about what you do to keep yourself looking young. What you put on your face and if you go to a dermatologist what work you get done plzzz. Great videos :)

  • Centrifugal vs the Cold Press Juicer. i heard Cold Press juicer is better. any opions on this? thanks

  • Also, for non-organic fruits and veggies, Jay Kordich (the Juiceman-who cured himself from cancer) recommebnds washing your produce in the following:

Fill a sink with cold water.

Add 4 heaping Tablespoons of salt.

Cut a lemon in half; squeeze the juice into the water.

This becomes diluted hydrochloric acid. It will remove fungus, waxes, and sprayed on pesticides.

Soak the fruits and vegetables for 2-3 mins. Swish and rinse. I am so glad your husband is doing better- God bless you

  • looks delicious!

  • check the Vita-Mix blender for healthy shakes and smoothes when you want some more fiber, juices are the best for cancer patients, but healthy people do best on combination of juices and smoothies that include the whole fruit and veggie all blended, that way you get full and get plenty of fiber and other nutrients. SO glad to see you going on this diet which is not a diet but a lifestyle, good luck!

  • OH yum! Looks very good. You are what you eat. Love you!

  • good luck girl! keep us posted:)

  • You should definitely get a Vita-Mix blender...you can use all the same ingredients, and make smoothies....Yummy....today I had spinach, mango, pinneapple, lime, apple smoothie for breakfast...lunch: kale, apple, pear, strawberry, grape smoothie...it fills you up like no hamburger will ever do....XOXO Jasmina

  • use high on you breville on your harder veggies....carrots apple etc.

  • Juicing is awesome just make sure your produce is organic- it would be such a waste to eat "healthy" but then put chemicals in your body!

  • Love you lana!

  • Lana, what kind of juicer do you have?

  • Lana I wondered if you could tell me what juicer you have there. My hubby and I are looking to add juicing to our diet. We aren't interested in an all raw food diet but I think juicing could really be a way for us to improve our diet ten fold. I want my kids to learn about juicing so they can have this become part of their lives and when they have kids , do it for their children too. please let me know if you can, what juicer you have. I have recipes for the pulp if you want them. luv u.

  • i applaud your dedication to living a healthier life. now i am going to buy some m&m's before i watch the rest of the videos in my queue. ;)

ps- the pulp is good for you. try using it for something.

  • I need to get a juicer -- I'm using my Vitamix right now but it doesn't make as pure of a juice, but it's still very healthy and I drink 2 smoothies each day and then an edible meal, like a big salad with everything in it but the kitchen sink. LOL So glad to see you're doing this, Lana and YES, once your husband is able to swallow, this is going to be so so healthy for him. XOXO

  • you are not going to belive this i use my jack la laine juicer and made the same juice without the tomatoe and use the sam glass even hahahaa that is so funny i did get a tip from you to use a liner in the back thanks alot

  • Oh Lana! I'm so happy to see this as I am vegan and try to avoid a lot of grains. And let me say since I've became vegan a little over a year ago; I've lost 70lbs, and completely gotten rid of my arthritis and polycystic ovary syndrome :) this is the best LIFESTYLE change you could ever make :)

  • If you're getting rid of processed foods, you should at least consider doing away with dairy and meat as well. Casein, a protein found in milk and cheese is a known cancer promoter. It promotes cancer at all stages. You should read The China Study. Very good stuff.

  • i'm in nursing school and a kid in my program actually had a friend who had cancer and opted to do a raw food diet instead of chemo/radiation...he has been cancer-free ever since!

  • Lana this video reminded me of my childhood and how much i hated those juices! but my dad used to make them every Sunday morning and my brother and i had to drink them... now im starting to drink those juices and im the one giving it to my parents because i want them to be healthy. thanks for your video =)

  • Hi Lana, i have a Jack La Laine juicer and is awesome. I bought it used it a couple of times and put it away. You have inspired me to dust that bad boy off and start juicing! Praying your husband Beats it!

  • That salad looks so good!! I like the suggestion of one of your other subscribers that said she uses the pulp for soup! Great idea! We usually don't eat a lot of red meat either - we like fish and chicken. This would be great for kids, too. It's hard to get them to eat fruits and veggies and a nice smoothie in the morning before school is a great boost, Thanks again!!

  • now i want a salad mmmmmm :)

  • Your salad looked so yummy. I am sure the juicer is a heather way to go to.

  • Hi Lana, thanks again for the video, I hope you don't discard the pulp as there are very many healthful properties of that, Add it to vegetable stock to make quick homemade soup. Add garlic whenever you can as it is antiviral and great for your system. Try to add healthful Omega 3's in your system and protein to boot with Chia Seeds and Hemp Seeds I grind them up together and add them to my morning smoothie or you can add them just as they are to your salad for healthy fat/protein that is raw.

  • Sounds wonderful Lana. I make smoothies every morning of (organic if I can) Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and a banana. a little bit of Organic non fat vanilla yogurt and a bit of almond milk as well.

  • You have to find Mimi Kirk on you tube, voted sexiest women alive by PETA, she is 72 and a rawist... She has a book and facebook page

  • Dont forget that the pulp of fresh vegies can be used to make a lovely healthy vegie soup, you dont have to throw it away.

  • Your salad looks so yummy! My hubby and I have been thinking of getting a juicer as well. We can certainly all benefit from eating fresh fruits and vegetables. My hubby eats far too much red meat.

It truly is wonderful to see you back online, Lana. Thank YOU so much for your encouraging comments! I love you! Hugs and prayers,~Marilyn

  • It looks really fun! Good tip about the bag in the waste bin part.

  • Awesome!!!

  • hello lana add some ginger to the drink . im going to make that yummy sald . quick and easy thats the way to go . love you lana . how is henry .

  • ive grown up on a farm all my life.. my grandparents made their own jams/jellies and processed their own meats grew their own fruit/veggies. i think the only thing i ever seen them actually BUY were spices and medicine lol

  • Lana This looks soooo yummy!!! I love that you are doing other things on your channel. Thanks for sharing. My son is doing this and said he never felt better.. :) Take care and thanks for the salad too, gonna give it a go!!! Lori

  • 0:59.. sounds like a banshee screaming lmao

  • Hi Lana, thanks for sharing this - I am going to get my mixer out of the cupboard - I have also subscriber to "Dan" re the raw foods - what an amazing channel he has - this has inspired me to eat more wholesome and raw foods too! Love to You JA :o) x

  • Something you can do, too, is run the pulp back through it a second time.... it gets EVEN MORE juice out of it. I run mine through a second time so I know I'm really getting all of the juice and its not going to waste. And then you can save the pulp and use it to make a veggie stock

  • I forgot to say what an excellent idea using a bag for the pulp, you live and learn loll x x x

  • Wow happy juicing Lana, I love how clean it makes me feel you you know what I mean, I juice celery baby spinach apple ginger and carrots for my morning drink it keeps me going for hours. Praying that Henry will soon be able to start his raw juicing very soon .God bless you ..Hugs my Raw Food Friend ...Margaret

my laptops being a very good girl lolll x x

  • please could you do a hair tutorial showing how you get your hair/bangs like that it looks beautiful xx

  • Lana, I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years (I'm 68!! and no one would guess!!). My rule is, if it has a mother I don't eat it. I've never felt better. I commend you for taking this step for your health and for Henry. Just make sure you get enough protein. I do drink a protein shake every day and probably get more protein than most meat eaters.

  • i have the same juicer lana . they are great. keep on juicing . i love juicing . enjoy .

  • thank you so much for doing this ! I went and bought a juicer this morning after seeing you talk about going RAW in part one ! Hugs to you and your husband !

  • I make my own juices too Lana when I don't have time to sit down and eat a meal - bear in mind that food in its proper form is better for us because the fibre also has protective properties from cancers (particularly bowel) and aids digestion. Use the pulp to make yummy soups. Sweetheart, careful with the almonds - too many can be toxic. I am so happy to see you looking and feeling fabulous. Love you so much. Prayers for both you and your wonderfully, brave Henry. God bless you both. xxxooo

  • try the ninja juicer, it makes juice of the whole fruit without wasting anything

  • Lana, thank you SO much for sharing these videos with us! I made my soon-to-be 12-year-old son watch these to show just how easy this is to do and how good it's making you feel. It's motivated both of us. :) You are an awesome role model, thank you, thank you!!

    ~ Miki

  • Can't recommend the Vitamix enough! No pulp - you throw almost everything in and in blends so smooth! Can even make soup! Hugs xxx Eva

  • Think I will join you.....good luck!

  • haha i just watched part 1, made a comment about my superfood mix i love and then went made one :) and now i am back to watch this, am SO needing to buy a juicer!!!!! thanks you totally inspired me :)

  • I saw all the pulp and thought the same thing as Jessykapop....Wow great to throw in a pot and make a vegi soup, maybe add some garlic to it for flavor

  • I love your video on juicing!!! I am praying for your husband and you. I love the salad idea too! Mmm mmm!! It looks so good. I am going to send you a link to a lady on yourtube you may like too. You are just wonderful Lana!! God Bless you and your husband!! Becki

  • cheers, Lana, please keep us posted on this, your and your husband's progress, recipes, etc.! cant wait!

  • Very inspiring! One thing I am curious about is protein? How do you get enough protein and what can you eat to make sure you are getting enough? Nuts? Thanks!

  • your hair is fabulous

  • My Sweet hubby and I been Juicing for over 30 yrs!

Its the Best! Love the Vita Mixer !!

So happy to see you doung this!

    God Bless!

    ((hugs)) Lorrie ♥

  • Go to the channel of Kris Carr (and her web site)! A wonderful woman fighting against her cancer. Maybe can help :) Much love.

  • Yummy! So glad you feel so much better now! You know what they say - we are what we eat!

  • Great to see you doing so well! I wish I could put my Grandma on this whole juicing track. She is so set on losing weight, but she has this nasty chemical-packed diet that is wayyy overr priced and doesn't even look good. Plus she basically just starves herself with a cup of "soup" that smells like a dirty diaper and a few "nutrition bars" that look like they came from the dirty diaper. Bleh! Well anyway, I'll try to convince her. Good Luck with everything, and God bless you and your husband!

  • Lana you said that you have been juicy for 2 weeks are more. Can you give a us a review on the Breville Juicer (pro/cons) if any? Thank you in advance.

  • U R the best!

    xo

  • what I do with the pulp is I make a veggie soup.. I dont like to waste any part. I am so glad your doing well. God Bless..

  • @jessykapop Me too! It makes great stews with potato chunks.

  • @jessykapop what a great idea!!!

  • I am wondering why instead of juicing, you would not eat the whole celery stalk, tomatoes and carrots..to me, I enjoy the crunch, more than liquid drinks...but either way, you look happy, and feeling healthy, make sure your fruits and veggies are not GMO, get to your farmers market, buy from the local farmers, and wash all your veggies and fruits with apple cider vinegar.

Best wishes for your hubby getting back his health.

  • Thank you for this video and the last one! may you live to be 100!

  • lana i have watched since-1975- i found a vegan on utube- Mimi kirk- she was sexist vegan over 50 when she was 70-after i got 2 know her i find out she was a actress-org star trek- stand in for Mary Tyler more & she styled rhoda hippie gypsy look-on the tvshow- she has SOmany great raw recipes I LOVE HER i know you will love her too- she is right up our alley-hot sexy-loving! Our generation needs2DETOX- laugh more&quit bitching -my god people my age drive me nuts (U B example) love u x shelly

  • Yum..great! Lana invetigate the Vita mixer as well. I have both a juicer that removes pulp but the Vita MIxer you eat everything and it leaves NO pulp behind. It even makes hot soup right in it. It is 500 but so worth every penny. Love you and I am glad you are taking care of yourself.

  • @CalicoCatMissPeachs I've been debating the vitamix vs blendtec and I dunno which one I want...which is better? What do you think?

  • The salad looks DELISH!!!! yum!

  • Make sure you add some Kale or Spinach to get the dark leafy greens in your diet - Kale is mucho packed with nutrients :-) I am on day 29 of juice feast and feeling great!

  • Toss a few drops of tobasco into that veggie juice and yum it up! Great video and love the salad you made.

  • And my thoughts are with you and your husband, cancer sucks! Your positive outlook will go a very long way, I know this personally!

  • Awesome Lana! I'm so tempted to get a juicer, but I just bought a Vitamix, which I love, but it's not the same I guess. What do people suggest? Vitamix versus a juicer? My daughter just started juicing and she swears by it. Great suggestions here too! Hugs to you and your hubby and prayers that he gets positive test results soon!

  • LANA ! you have to do more videos on this :) Im transitioning into raw ! Yay pleaseeee :)

  • Good for you, Lana! People are so hesitant to believe that bad food negatively impacts your health. My cousin was diagnosed with cancer and has taken to juicing as well. At one chemo appointment we saw a husband bringing his wife that was receiving the infusion TACO BELL. The smell wafted through the whole room and we were sooooo disgusted.

  • Even in the kitchen you look adorable. I am a pretty healthy eater but I get reinvigorated when I see what other people are doing, great job.

  • i once tried to juice my own apple juice took me like 8 large apples just to get one glass of juice. but it really did taste amazing nothing like shop bourght stuff. thnx 4 this.

  • Ok, this is going to make me get a Breville Juicer !! I have a Juice Man and it doesn't remove all the liquid from the pulp .. and so it sits in my pantry, unused. I've been meaning to get a Breville, but just haven't moved on it ~ now I will :-) ~ you've inspired me :-D

  • Great video. I've tried juicing and I liked it a lot. It seems like you have use so much veggies just to get that one little glass of juice. Which under subscriber said makes for a lot of trips to the grocery. But it's worth being healthy isn't it? xoxo

  • I'm inspired to give this a try! I have MS and I know eating healthier would help. Thanks Lana!

  • beautiful salad lana! So, good for you,all those veggies and fruits! Again,i love the salad with almonds!have a great day!

  • Excellent vid Lana, sending lots of love to you and your husband. You should check out Douglas Graham 80 10 10 and Robert Morse ND on youtube, his vids are great :)

  • You might want to consider a vitamix. It grinds up all those fruits and veggies up just like the juicer does only you get to drink it all instead of 90% of it ending up in the trash. We just recently got one & I love it. Only problem is that eating that way requires frequent trips to the grocer. If it were just me it would be ok but my husband wants his dinner the second I walk in the door!! Check out Jane at blend it and mend it on YT for lots of great smoothie recipes. QVC has them.

  • Forgot to mention that I keep my "waste" from the juicer, it makes great vegetable stock :)

  • I have the exact same juicer, I LOVE it, I've been juicing on a daily basis for the past 3 months and it's awesome! I have at least one a day, usually for breakfast, it's a great way to start my day!
