Regardless of the difference in the genre of music they make artists respect great artists. Beyonce is respected almost universally in the industry, mainstream and otherwise because of the great example she sets and the dedication she has for her craft. They know how difficult it is to simply stay on key and maintain breathe control on stage when you're just standing there so of course they respect someone who can sing better live than on record while dancing simultaneously...what isn't to love?
