singers used to sing first, and the emotion would come through their singing.
today's singers emote first, then they hope the voice will come out.
emoting has become a verb!

@wattever333 Wow, a very prescient observation and most of the emoting that's done is not worth watching; with the singing being in 2nd place, it's not worth hearing, either.
