This game is better than TOP SPIN or GRAND SLAM TENNIS...........It seems the real game more than the other to games..........It's a pity that virtua have few players and the name of the tournaments are not the real ones...........

@pablotjob how is this game better than top spin?? game master and x box official mag and ps3 online mag gave topspin 9/10 and this game 5 or 6/10 virtua tennis is a joke tennis game not to mention completely unrealistic. top spin is a realistic almost simulator.

No tennis player stops moving after they hit the ball...lol it's so unrealistic, top spin is WAY better.

Looks very, very unrealistic. First of all,

a) Andy Roddick is nowhere near as good at volleying as the game makes him seem like. Especially against Roger Federer.

b) Whenever someone tries to attack at the net with volleys, the point usually ends in the next 3 shots. They don't just keep rallying endlessly.

That's what I hate about current tennis games. It seems like the computer opponent is able to rundown EVERY single shot. You think you've hit a sure winner, only for the computer to run the length of the court and hit it. And this endless rallying goes on forever!

I think the difficulty on this game is fucked up cause i can beat the COM 6-0 on hard level, but I cant even win a single game with the COM set to Very Hard. Most frustrating thing ever.

it isnt realistic in terms of the returns, i mean some of the shots were almost impossible in tennis, the graphics makes up for this however, what a game by federer 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6 and 16-14!

i was thinking about getting this game but it looks EXACTLY like the previous version, maybe a bit shinier. but not even that much. federer's hair looks stupid but i'm nitpicking. the signature shots look very real but you need time to set them up, shots they hit quickly don't look like federer's, actually all of the players' reflex shots look the same. and it's too fast. topspin 1 had the best pace. but still, i suck at topspin 3 so i might have to get this one.

yeah i was realli dissappointed with VT09 i mean.. you would expect them add something new after 3 years..unfortunately it took him that long to replace one animation, the diving for the ball with a sliding down on one knee motion and the graphics are exactly the same as VT3. gameplay is not that great too but im not gonna argue against their decision to keep it fast paced and simple but what about for the real tennis enthusiasts?

were gonna have to wait a long time to game developers to come up with a good tennis game.. one more thing, nadal is still labeled as a fast runner his strokes are weak and he hardly does his over the head follow through in this game.
