What a sham. You ever notice the other candidates' supporters never get pushed out, probably because they've been paid to be there in the first place. Ron Paul supporters are the only ones who think for themselves, the rest seem to be brain-dead or paid-off or both.

Fantastic! I was waiting for this to happen (I had a feeling it would). They've done more for Ron Paul by cancelling the poll than if they hadn't. The reporting on the cancellation has the effect of both advertising that he (would have) won the straw poll in addition to advertising his supporters, and that the neoconservatives are trying to hide his support. 10 times better than if they'd held the straw poll!

Straw polls with only a few hundred votes are a waste of time and show nothing. The only straw polls worth taking a look at are ones with a couple thousand.

Actually statistically speaking, it has been proven that a statistically relevant sample can be derived from 32 randomly selected individuals. However, the S.F. straw poll was obviously not a random selection. It was quite obvious by the video that the S.F. Republicans had set up a nice little list of F.Thompson and Romney supporters to sway the straw poll. Ron Paul's people volunteered to show up and display the true face of America. We want Paul. We are sick of liars and heretics.

There are so many things wrong with straw polls I think they should be eliminated. In Ron Paul's case if he wins they say "Oh those straw polls don't mean any thing" if someone like Mitt wins they say "What a strong showing of support he has"

I love Ron Paul and I do all I can to spread the message but I fear unless something changes THEY will not let him win even if the people are behind him. What a major loss that would be to America.

This event is just a shadow of the media manipulation that pretends that Ron Paul doesn't have the support of the Majority of thinking Americans. I would have still liked to have seen the Ron Paul supporters behave more calmly. What would Ron Paul do? He'd probably ask his fellow supporters to quiet down first, then one person would speak up on their behalf. They wouldn't have been able to vote but at least the media wouldn't be able to so easily portray them as barbarians. I do get the outrage though, I feel it too.
