Does anyone know how much excess weight the MMosquito can carry (in grams) and still fly? I imagine you could easily attach a note on a string and fly it to someone. And what about the effective control range?
The video is pretty good, but next time don't focus so close on the helicopter. It would be nice to see the 'copter from a distance to see how it performs.
Wow, awesome! How did you keep it flying at the same spot? Mine always fly sideway and I always wondered what's that thing at the bottom of the Helicopter's body. It looks like a switch. :@)
I have one of these, the propellers will break easily if you dont fix the trimmer right. So I suggest you keep the trimmer adjusted in the middle so you can fly it easily. Dont fly it near a roof or tree because I guarentee the wind will bring it up and let make it get caught.
unfortunately each model is trimmed differently due to manufacturing variations, i had one and i had to trim it entirely to the left and control left yaw with the stick, adjusted the rotor blades and it helped a little but eventually i brought it back, and now the micro i have i trim 3/4 to the right. i called interactive toy and they told me that it was normal.
BUT what i would like to see is replacement motor brushes, or brushless motors.
I have two of 'em they are great fun. But I highly recommend that you upgrade the tail rotor blade to the newest one that you can find at Dragonfly. It makes reverse impossible but it improves forward motion by so much more. Hopefully when I fix my cam I will put up a video of it! The key to flying this heli smoothly to prevent rotor warping is smoth acceleration and deceleration. Master that and you will fly like a pro!
before my sis friend broke mine i was super good at flying it. man i was a pro. i could land about anywhere without having troubles like the mosquito rockying back and forth.
I own a micro hughes at the mo, same as the piccoZ really, not very stable durig flight. This looks a lot more stable, but I don't want to have to weigh it down to make it move and I don't want a heli that only goes up/down/left/right, so right out of the box how is the forwards/backwards motion?. Does it respond well? also, the better tail rotor, does it weigh the back end down more than the stock causing it to drift backwards?.
I'm new to the whole heli thing, any help appreciated!.
your rear rotor does NOT turn unless you move forward or backwards. It is a big mis conception.
The rear rotor is only to move you FWD or Backwards. It will spin fast to move you FWD. The reason yours does not spin is because you ar not flying it right OR you need to check if the tail motor wires are not touching eachother or metal.
does anybody know any shop that posts rear stronger rotors for the frand and backward movement internationally? If so, please reply me the address. Thanks!
Just got one myself..doesn't take long to master....tons of fun when i can't fly my hunny bee outside. Oh..this thing is pretty tuff, just watch the tail rotor when getting near any hard objects.
I just got one of these, Is it just a matter of learning to fly, or when hovering should the who thing sway back and forth. I currently have a at total of one battery flight.
does yours fly forward very well? It seemed to in the video, but mine has a realy hard time going forward, like superslow moe. or even backwards sometimes.
Hey man, i think i am gona buy one of those, but tell me one thing...
What about the damage it can take of flying against walls, objects or bad landings?

I had one of those. I returned it because it kept crashing, as in it would automatically steer left.
