I think the battle with El Greco is most epic. The music, the setting and the "Die Gringo" makes ju pumped, and when its all over and Cormano takes his hat... Video gaming don´t get better than this :)

I once played this game in the arcade but the 3rd boss (the big guy who fires from the horse outside the saloon) was different to the one I saw in this game.

Instead of just riding up and down, firing from his horse he was also jumping up to different floors and it was a kind of running fight.

I was using an OLD version of MAME when I made this -- don't remember which. At the time, my newest version of MAME didn't work either. Fortunately, you can find many older versions on the MAME site.

I think El Greco says "Adios, amigo" in the SNES version, right? Sounds like a decision Nintendo would've made. That's kind of interesting, though, if there were two versions with "non-gringo" dialogue (also: "Chief Wigwam" instead of "Chief Scalpem," etc, tee-hee).

Staying together means they all enemies target a single spot ( = easier to dodge). If you spread out, the bullet's will be flying everywhere.

you did mention that it's hard with 4 players, if you want a real challenge, be sure to play with 4 players while the difficulty is jacked up to very hard (which can be set on service mode)

I've played the "Second Play" version of the game, and it's definitely hard (even w/ two or three players). However, upping t he difficulty via the service menu has never increased the difficulty for me (noticeably, anyway). Does doing so via the service menu actually make it harder for you? My friends and I don't notice a difference until we've beaten the game a second time.

I totally agree. This was for fun and "just too silly." I plan to get a full run online eventually (in several parts, of course) with drunken commentary from three of my buddies, but so far it hasn't worked out. I assure you, at some point in the future, I'll get it online, with sound from the game in the background while we shoot the shit.
