The Transformers cartoon is still the same thing over and over again like the movies. For instance, the Decepticons build a device that will allow them to take over the world, then the Autobots show up and save the day with Megatron shouting "Decepticons retreat!" the end. If you want an epic Transformers storyline, read the Marvel comics published by IDW. The comics are much darker and more violent and superior to the cartoon.
@e1gamemaster Sounds like something he can totally relate to, seeing as though soccer moms are some of the main reasons why people as young as their teens and twenties are feeling at least as nostalgic as crotchety old geezers.
Now I will never un-see Optimus Prime going to Taco Bell to get said quesadilla. :P
With that aside, I never saw the second or third, mainly because I had a bad feeling about them when watching the previews and five minute snippets from websites.
Bay is the worst and Steven Speilberg is to blame for his trilogy.
