There is no area on your ear, that, if pierced, would be free of acupuncture points. and piercing wit5h a hollow needle only shoves the skin to the side, whereas punching removes it. this can, later on, when your 40/50/60+ lead to various problems, for example with your liver or kidneys. you can see for yourself by googling it
