Each time we have responded with over 36.5% of our entire population as volunteers for military service by the end of that war. This t percentage is of the entire population including the old and infirm, not just the population that is considered healthy enough to serve.

Since there are 103 times more brave US soldiers fighting in all theatres than cowards (Canadians) - 238,000 to 2300, the figures are remarkable.
