The two most popular ways to kill mobs from a trap ("grind" them) are lava and gravity. There are examples of both on Kiershar's channel - he's pretty famous around the community for inventing various traps, including the one with the platforms that you mentioned in one of your episodes.

I had that same problem making your cooker. Just move the dispenser back 1 block. I might make a video and show you what I did with your design. I played around with it a lot cause it was a great idea.

Was testing out my egg/chicken ratio in my Hardcore LP and I was getting a chicken for every 3 I threw. I wonder if there is something up with that specific world. How is you entity count at normally?

Sorry to comment spam you, but you should move the dispenser to where the empty space is, and face the "tube" with it. Chickens will immediately fall, they can't escape (even with no block there), etc.

I would go for fall damage on your system if you don't get the clock to work (if you attach a piston-tape-clock to an oldschool 5-clock you might get what you wanted) since you have plenty of blocks to go down till you are at collection area.

for a long timer you could use a small minecart loop, which rarely gets stuck or even better a taller V shape which requires more powered rail but is even more reliable. also, i sent you a pm :p

you shuld just separate you repeeter in you clock be one block then put some blocks there with some redstone and if you power hat redstone it will update you clock, you can just hook the reset of the clock to a 5 clock (old school one) and have it automaticly reset.

For the chicken farm make the clock slower

For the lava kill trap if you go that route, you need to make sure a block is above the lava. Otherwise the mobs will hit the lava and swim up and when they die their items will be destroyed.

Hi Genrick, you could try fall damage, as your item collection thingy is tuns of blocks below. Also i think red stone torch clocks restart after awhile, perhaps keep your crusher and try a different clock?

I still want to see some pillars with melons in them, wrapped in vines for your melon farm. I think it would make it look more proportionate, instead of having a short body and larger head, like an upside down pyramid. Keep up the videos, I love seeing these everyday. : )
