I love music like this. So much modern music has fallen into the rock and rap catagories, and while I like a fair amount of each, they fail to truly speak to me. When I listen to stuff like this, Celtic, Renaissance, Gaelic, it wraps me in a loving embrace that brings all the spiritual aspects of the world to life for a brief moment......... AHHH!! I totally did an acoustic version of this when I performed at a local fair. The singer was my G/F at the time and loved this stuff...it's real flitty chord-wise...basic chords but to make it sound "full" it's all sorts of flourishes

Don't give up on romance, there are too few people that are truly romantic. You may also try the song "Beloved" by VNV Nation its kind of technoish, but along the same lines as this song. I love this song, it has such a story behind it. It is also very beautiful sounding. My favorite part was 3:03-3:10. I love the bridge it is amazing and beautiful. The sound is very Irish sounding. This would have to be my most favorite song EVER!!!!
