Very cool, man. I have a highly modified $800+ ICS MP5 that I use as my main gun and a modified WE HI-Capa 5.1 that I use as a backup and I do all my own work as well...but I'm 25. Hey does your gun have metal gears in it? Because if it doesn't, having that much power will over work the gears and plastic gears will crumble. Just a warning because that happened to me with my M4.

the one ive shot is the civilion leagel fn ps-90 which is basically the same thing without being fully auto. (my gf's dad got one and i got to shoot it). I cant remember the name of the ammo tho.. the mag is really cool because it loads sideways and spins 90 degrees before it drops into the chamber.

The real P90 uses a specialized 5.7 x 28 mm ball round developed by FN. The round itself is not used by many weapons at all, and because of such is not produced in great quantities and tends to be rather expensive.

well I mean it hammers 25 bbs a second, you can only get like 15 with a hopper.

But i have a p90 regular magazine that holds 83 rounds. and feeds at least 23 shots a second due to the shape. it's in my other vid! oh and yes it is cool having a 9v gun. with the option of being able to use rechargeable batteries too.

Actually, it's easy to tell if you're hurting the thing or not. Look at the markings on the DC motor and find the voltage rating. So long as you stay under that you won't risk punching out your insulation.

Whether the gears on a $50 airsoft gun can take the higher speeds or not, well...

I got a upgraded Tokyo Marui P90 and i doubt your gun is 270 fps while keeping accuracy. Try this.

Get a friend in jeans and shoot him in the leg from about 20 feet away. If it stings like a bitch for at least 20 straight seconds (with lingering pain after) and leaves a small red welt for 24 hours, and discoloration on the skin for another 3 days then your gun is half decent.

And it should HURT!

The three round burst is all about trigger control. TM had a three round burst in their SIG 550 and SIG 551 rifles. However, the chip that regulated that function would burn out really fast. Now TM has a better Type 89 that has brought back the three round burst.

If its gearbox is anything like a real AEG gearbox, it should be fine all the way up to 20 rounds per second. After that, you may start running into problems without internal upgrades/modifications.

ok tell us what all you "did" to it..What is the brand of the P90, What brand and version gearbox, what is the FPS? ROF doesn't mean anything if it doesn't have the bite to go along with that speed.

Its a Version 2 Mauri Gearbox from airsplat. and FPS is like around 270 w/ .20 (but that is an estimate)

I am not rich and I dont have a fps counter.

My Warhawk shoots 280 and this thing is a little slower. so im guessing it 270

I was just wondering b/c that doesn't sound like a Marui gearbox. And if it is a TM V2 gearbox then yes the FPS is around 260-70.

For FPS, go to your local paintball field. You can Chrono your weapons there.
