Another shinning example of the mighty sportsman hunter . Its very sad to see what some people have evolved into , premeditated murder of baited animals who are trying to find something to eat . I sometimes wish the role would change and the hunter become the hunted . Sound fair ?
hey partner did you ever try bear meat well i hunt for food too and my kids likes bear meet more than moose deer our caribou you should try it you might be very suprised i know i was
So let the little bear go on his merry way and have little bears and they have little bears and so on, then I hope your the first dumbass they eat VERY SLOWLY
Good video. Nice clean kill. A great way to harvest fromt the land. A lot better than eating meat from animals that spend their life knee deep in s**t stuck in a building.
@natureperson420 i dont bait bear to hunt them i prefer to use calls but i will use bait if need be cave men used bait to draw animals to eat humans clawed there way to the top of the food chain to eat meat not fuckin celery and lettuce ill keep killing bears and eating the and you keep smoking your boyfriends tube steak wich i know probabaly provide you enuff nutrition and me a coward lol i like in a log cabin 75 miles from the closest road and i hunt for 90% of my food
@natureperson420 am i not alloud to visit family what ever bro keep trolling i have cousins up from the south for another 10 days and ill probabaly be on here some more might as well keep trolling you just for fun
actually it isn't illegal in the states. In maine there is a season for bear. You can use bait like shown in this clip or you can use dogs. Sounds like you are going out of your way to dislike something. Love to hate??? sounds like a pot calling the kettle black!
grats on a nice bear btw and nice quick clean kill every single tree hugger here that makes a comment should be forced to live out in a rural community living off the land for 1-2 years min they will change there toon real fuckin quick when thy realize they cant live or sustain full healthy lifves with out protien.......not some pharama suppliment fuck that humans are the ultimate predetor we came and we conqured dont like to fucking bad hang your self so yo dont contaminate the gene pool
@nitroexpress700 Most hunters these days don't hunt purely for sustenance, they hunt for sport. But, hey, some people find fulfillment by putting beauty and wonder into the world - some find fulfillment by taking beauty and wonder out of the world. That's life. If a hunter hunts responsibly, and is diligent about taking all reasonable steps to avoid as much cruelty as is possible, who am I to tell them they shouldn't be able to end life for the fun of it?
@irisfreamon that was a kill shot what you witnessed was nerves i know iv shot over 20 bears my self and over 3000 other small and medium game animals in the past 15 years
@natureperson420 and that is why there are hunting rules and regulations to limi the number of bears taken......already this has been thought out and planed plz do more reading befor making more comments.
@nitroexpress700 i dont give a fuck how maney permits there are, who the hell would eat bear anyway. here i leave a pile of food out and get the bear used to eating here. then one day ill shoot it. real sportsman like
@natureperson420 there are thousandes of people across the usa and canada that eat bear meat thousands you dont like ot to bad again part of food chain also people in russia also eat bear and many asian where its available. if you dont wanna bait for bear thats your issue go use a call or spot and stalk but dont preach to others that your holyer than thou caus you fuckin arnt
@MsButch1965 go ahead talk crap, i hunt for food, bear isnt food, i hope you will someday learn the true ways of the world, this is nothing but garbage. mabey somday you will learn. untill then enjoy your cowardly ways.
You can hunt in the states using bait barrels!! It is totally legal to do so and as far as humane kills.Bows can take down any North American game animal just as humanely as a fire arm.
Yes hunting with a gun is a quick death for the bear, but do not dis bow hunters, THE REAL HUNTERS, any one can pull a trigger, it takes skill to put an arrow where you want it, it was J.F.K who said, " we choose to go to the moon not because these things are easy, but because they are HARD"
@DethMetalNinja1 anyone can pull a trigger but aiming it right is a whole other story. kickback and lift alone can cause a gunshot to miss completely or seriously harm an animal without dropping it letting it escape to die slowly.
gun hunters are just as much hunters as bow hunters. you are in no position to judge them.
This is a great way of hunting. We have high powered rifles and have learned the best ways to attract bears. People that say it's not fair and we should use a knife, primitive bow, or spear to kill them are monsters! Humans have advanced beyond cruel leg traps, nooses, and other tortuous means of hunting. Watch national geo. sometime. The world is cruel. This bear was killed quickly, and will provide many meals. The animal that died for meat you bought at the store had a much worse fate.
If you don't feed the bears and other wild creatures human food their populations will take care of themselves. Its a travesty that people who are armed with technology which vastly tilts the balance of power between the hunter and the hunted call it "sport" when they go out shooting. Let them go out with a bow and arrow, or even just a knife and there might be reason to respect them. Otherwise its just an ambush with superior firepower.
@openfifth It occurs to me that a lion bringing down a zebra, a black bear taking a fawn, a cat taking a mouse or a human with a bow taking a deer are not really any more or less "fair" than this.
This video violates youtube policies. This isn't educational or trying to prove a point at all. It's plain sick and a cheap shot. Like the video title says, this really isn't hunting at all. Messed up and just here for shock value. don't believe me read the policies.
Baiting for bears is allowed here for several reasons. 1- Bears are a problem here and baiting allows them to congregate away from homes. Bait is not allowed within 1 mile of a residence and is usually done long distances from residences to reduce human/bear conflicts.. 2- Baiting brings all bears in, including sows with cubs. Watching them to establish what are not sows with cubs allows hunters to not ophan cubs. There are more reasons but running out of space. Good luck bear hunters!
im sick of how ppl say hunters are selfish and monsters. we hunt for food and they never complains when a animal kills another animal. we dont make them suffer when we shoot them but animals make there prey suffer, so stfu and dont comment on stuff that offends you!
While baiting may be legal in certain states and certain parts of Canada...I never me do it. To me, it's just plain unethical to hunt over bait or use dogs....even for small game. Where's the fair chase? Where's the challenge? But to each his own I suppose. If you want a real challenge put down the rifle, inline muzzleloader, slug gun, crossbow and compound bow and hunt with a stick bow and wooden arrows sometime....whole different ball game.
oh and hunting over bait, while it may be controversial helps the hunters make sure they are taking mature animals and it allows them to take their time to make a quick clean kill. huntin bears with hounds rarely allows for that...u either take running shots or shots at bears bayed up by dogs or treed...not the easiest circumstances to shoot in...gotta kill the bear before he kills a dog
do you have any idea how hard it is to hunt bear in thich terrain without either baiting or using hounds? doubt it. even in areas extremely thick with bears you will almost never see them while hunting unless you bait them and even then they usually come at night here...so we dump hounds on a bait site and follow them. id love to be able to spot and stalk a bear but thats not an option in the southeast
So many dislikes,it was actually a clean kill, the nerves kept moving. you Peta individuals are stupid. This isn't violence, this is called getting food without having hormones injected into your meat.Grow a pair, and stop complaining about the circle of life. Now if he had abused the animal*ACTUAL ABUSE,and not your bitchy irrational rants on what is and what isn't*then yes, that would be wrong
@urbman29 I am a hunter and this is like hunting at the zoo. Why dont you find the bear without feeding it. I would never post this kind of crap on youtube. But what do I know, may be I should go hunting my local zoo too.
fuck you assholes! i hunted 9 days over bait for 4 hours a day and didn't see a bear. its alot harder then it looks. sooo you fuckin PETA freak can kill my country white ass!
For people like it the world is a place full of suffering, if they tried to hunt an animal like this would make melee pieces. There is a God (YHWH) and He all-seeing one day be judged by their actions. but that He bless you and your family too. Bears is not Food ¿Are you stupid?
@gamkielech You have a lot of nerve asking if someone else is stupid when you make comments like "Bears is not food" go back to grammar school moron, you should say "Bears are not food" and contrary to what you believe bears are food. Properly cared for and prepared bear meat is one of the best tasting wild game meats and as far as I know God provided all animals for human use.
@mrx9782003 "Bears are not food"- is that all you've got? And how do you know that God provided all animals for human use? That sort of thinking has caused the extinction of a LOT of biodiversity and it's not ever coming back- so you can go to hell and take your perverted religious beliefs with you.
And don't forget to have a nice day and remember how that bear must have felt. Damned sloppy shooting.
@silverlight68 LMFAO, this goes to show what an ignorant, uneducated, propaganda believing fool that you are. First read the comment again then you will see that I used the "God" comment as a retort to the other moron who implied that all hunters were going to go to hell for their actions. Secondly, urban population growth is responsible for more habitat destruction and animal extinction than hunting could ever produce. Con't
@silverlight68 Third, we have laws in place that are designed for optimal animal population sustainability therefore there will never be an extinction due to over hunting. Forth, do some research on the whitetail deer and tell me what the estimated population was in North America when the first settlers arrived and then tell me what the population is now. When you find out that you are wrong you can send me an apology. Last but not least "Bears are food and they are delicious"
@mrx9782003 You might be retarded, but that doesn't make you right! I know what the facts are, buddy, don't think you have anything to teach me. I've hunted pretty much all my life and still I cannot understand what practical use posting this kind of video has. Let me tell you: NONE. The only thing you've accomplished here is showing something getting shot and killed, and it wasn't a very clean shot either.
And what really gets the PETA fanatics going is not exactly the idea of hunting, but the boneheads like yourself who do this sort of thing: posting these kinds of video's that don't glorify hunting, but glorify 'killing'. This footage does not show hunting, it shows 'death'. A real hunter has at least some respect for the game he's after, but you don't have that respect.
Would like to tell me about the "then and now" buffalo populations while you're at it? Had not a thing to do with urban encroachment but with characters like you who were ignorant and had NO RESPECT. As for the whitetail deer populations (all of which is besides the point), take away the bears, wolves, and other predators and the population will increase. So in fact, you are only contributing to the deer problem but removing a natural population limiting factor.
@silverlight68 He moron, you are doing a great job of showing everyone what an idiot you are. For starters this is not even my video, I had merely commented that "bears are good food" As for the buffalo I agree that the early settlers caused a massive decline in the population but they were not hunters. They were shooters who killed animals and left them to rot. NO true hunter will waste the meat of an animal, period.
@silverlight68 Also if you do a bit of research you will find that the farming practices of the prairies have all but caused the extinction of that naturally occurring prairie grass which was the mainstay of the buffalo. The main reason for these farming practices is to provide corn and grains for all of your processed foods and your steroid filled meat. So indirectly we are all responsible for the decline of animal populations even you tree hugging vegans.
@mrx9782003 Who's the bigger idiot? Do you know what a vegan even is? They don't eat (steroid filled) meat. Second, I got my first gun when I was 11 and had three by the age of 16. Did my hunter safety course at age 14. Had small game, migratory bird as well as big game licenses. Plus 20 years of taxidermy experience on top of that. And I have RESPECT for wildlife as a hunter as well as a human. Now piss off and go back to your mommy.
@silverlight68 There you go again running your mouth without actually reading the comment. Where did I say that Vegans eat meat? I didn't. Please come back when you have something intelligent to say.
@mrx9782003 "and grains for all of your processed foods and your steroid filled meat. So indirectly we are all responsible for the decline of animal populations even you tree hugging vegans." Key words here being 'your' and 'you'. When you write a comment directed to me and use those two words in it, then you are referring to 'me', not your neighbor. Dumbass.
It's a direct inference that vegans eat meat according to your rant in referring to me with "YOUR steroid filled meat" but in the same breath again referring to me "YOU tree-hugging vegan." It's very basic elementary school level English grammar. This is a very clever oxymoron you've written here, with 'moron' being the key word LOL!!
Keep it up dude, I have all kind of time to show you and nearly a million others how smart you're not.
@silverlight68 Please! Give me a break. These comment windows are too short to write a novel. Anyone who read the comment can realize that the period ended a sentence and started a new one. I'm done wasting my time with you except to tell you that baiting is not illegal in all states. One more thing that you know nothing about yet you chose to comment like you actually have something intelligent to say.
I must add that I am bit dumbfounded that you referred to me as ignorant and uneducated. You have NO idea who you're talking to and what my experience is. Bloody pot calling the kettle black LOL!!
Baiting bears, you bait them with stale donuts for two months, you set up a camera so you know when one arrivess at what time, you go out there at 8:15 am, you shoot the bear at 8:17,from a tree stand, you skin it out so he can have the mount, the meat rots in the woods, then you come up with some incredible bear encounter where you just got away with your life. I'm a hunter my dad was a hunter, his dad was, but this? I have met 4 bear in the woods in my life,4 feet away from a couple, harmless.
Actually I have a Griz Tag, Black Bear Tag, Wolverine and Wolf tag for September 22 - October 1. My goal is the griz and wolf. the black bear and wolverine are only bonus tags.
Chimps are our closest relative? LOL. They also say that before the chimp there was proconsol and Australopithicus, neanderthal, Cro-Magnon man, smaller primates, frog and eventually before all of this a walking catfish is what got us out of the water. You truly want to win a converation. LOL. Let me know when you discuss something you really think you know something about.
@hypocrit Our closest LIVING relative. That is a fallacy. You state that we're on the "top" of the food chain and state you have won. Stating you won doesn't make it so. Simply because we have the ability to destroy and take over other species' domain, does that make it right? If might makes right, then why aren't we in an eternal war with each other to assert dominance? Power does not equal morality. I can't wait to see you in hell. More people to torture. And what lies did I allegedly make up?
@vgman94 Who said anything about power in Morality? U? u r a tupical loon. Hell? I guess there is one if u believe in that. If u cant figure out how u lied, its best u r left untold so others can see how rediculous u are when u open your mouth. Everytthing has the potential to destroy & even after I have shown u that, u still do not accept being wrong. Even insects & snakes destroy things without eathing them. What a dumb ass. Not to mention, you cant even argue well
@democrat "u cant figure out how u lied, its best u r left untold so others can see how rediculous u are when u open your mouth"... Hahahahahahaha! That's funny. You're lying to me about me lying and pretending you're right as if animals doing something makes it alright for us to do it to them. You're fucking funny. Pathetic too. I've seen a very small amount of respectable hunters who do it for necessity and/or feel bad for the animal, but you're just a POS trucker. Man, you're a funny retard.
@vgman94 Well thanks 4 your acceptance of being funny. Thats really good 2 know I make u laugh. Atleast u can go 2 bed with a smile. Thats the important thing n life. I dont pretend I am right by the way. I know I am right 4 me. As I said, it doesnt matter what u think of me, it only matters what I think. Life is 2 short 2 be concerned what others think of me. It doesnt do many any goiod 2 b concerned what others think & the majority of time, u arent going 2 change their minds so why bother.
@Mont556n By that logic, shouldn't we do that with humans? Let's kill all the criminals and destroy the nations we don't like! This logic is stupid. Capturing and sterilizing them or castrating them is a more humane than going out and killing them for no reason.
@vgman94 Your problem, Sir, is that you can't tell the difference between a bear and a human. I would not call bear hunting "going out and killing them for no reason". Many people (in fact, its the law) eat bears. Nothing wrong with a regulated season that brings in money for habitat and regulation. People like yourself contribute nothing.
@Mont556n No, sir. I simply don't act on a power trip thinking I'm superior simply for my species. Hubris is what makes people think they're superior when they're not. More habitat for hunting, not conservation half the time. Predators like wolves and scavengers like foxes are killed so more deer can roam for hunters to kill, and hunters kill the strongest, not the weakest of them. No, we're just people who contribute to morality.
@vgman94 oh shut up and put ur damned bleeding heart away, ppl kill the strongest because they want meat and have the ability to do so, predatory animals such as coyote and fox, and just so happens mr black bear are over populating certain areas and starving
@FUCKNELSON "Just so happens" O RLY? And where did you get such "information"? Killing is not the answer. Put your barbarian senses away and get civilized. Dead carcasses feed coyotes and foxes. If you take the dead, even MORE will starve. Meat isn't a necessity. The majority of people can live perfectly fine on a vegetarian diet. Even if you do eat meat, get it from a humane farm (not a factory farm), don't scare the hell out of an animal and murder it. Humans are overpopulating, not animals.
@vgman94 Thats your slant, not mine, and no documented evidence exists to support you. Foxes and coyotes are killed for fur, and are a great renewable resource for many in rural areas. Hunters shoot deer for food. If you think only the best are harvested, you have never been hunting. It simply does not work that way. I do beleive people are superior. We MANAGE game herds and predators. That is why they are still here today. It has been show wolves kill more healty animals than weak.
@Mont556n Animals are not a "resource". They are sentient beings with emotions and minds. Read up on Galloping Colts, Richard Sarjeant and Peter Singer. Humans are not supposed to manage wildlife. Wildlife regulated itself until Europeans can to destroy it for their almighty economy. You want to manage wildlife? Help it become a self-sustaining ecological system instead of going out there for some fun. That's all it is unless you don't have the physiology for vegetarianism.
@vgman94 A vegi? Figures. Animals have been managed for the past 100 years and we have abundant game animals because of it. Without the North Americian game management plan, we would have nothing. Humans are suppose to manage wildlife. If they don't, they become extinct. Been shown over and over. VEGETARIAN --> Indian name for poor hunter.
@Mont556n Now you're being facetious. Humans are not supposed to manage wildlife. Wildlife did just fine before human interfered, so why should our appearance mean we have to manage it? All we need to do is stop urban sprawl and bring back predators that have gone extinct in the areas they used to roam in. Reforestation and species reintroduction are much more natural and long-lasting solutions. It's setting right what went wrong. There a lot of better solutions than this bloodsport.
@vgman94 Good luck doing that in dense populated areas like in Europe and India ect.! FYI we're predators too, pretty good ones actually. I live and hunt in nothern Germany and I suport every intention to bring back voles but they're not coming back to the same area they left. My state(Schleswig-Holstein) used to be covered entirely by forest, today it's just 10%. There are packs in eastern Germany but I can't keep up with their Prey because the prey is highly adapted to man shaped environment
@vgman94 There would be no wildlife without management. "All we need to do is stop urban sprawl". Good luck with that. There are plenty of predators such as wolves in Canada and Alaska. We don't need wolves here in any sense and trying to reverse the clock back 200 years with people in the equation is utterly ridiculous. Not so sure wildlife did well without people. 99.8% of all animals living on the earth became extinct WITHOUT people. Utilize the resources, do it right, but use it.
@Mont556n Now this is just ridiculous. "99.8% of all animals living on the earth became extinct WITHOUT people" over BILLIONS of years. We've destroyed thousands of species in 10,000 years. "We don't need wolves here in any sense". Not you, but the animals themselves deserve to live and the ecosystem has a need for them. Urban sprawl needs to be stopped by using Buddhist Economics and stablizing the population. If we do not, ecological and societal collapse will happen sooner or later.
@vgman94 Nope. You are ridiculous. Totally. You obviously need to understand economics and how it pretains to wildlife. You cannot turn the clock back. Environmental nazis like yourself do more to harm wildlife then help. "We don't need wolves in any sense" is true in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. The wildlife did just fine without them...in fact, did much better...than now. We as people replaced wolves.
@Mont556n You're completely ignorant. Try getting some environmental classes. Humans cannot effectively replace wildlife. Simply because it's not affecting you, that doesn't mean there's not a consequence. Wildlife never needed humans and the only thing that is getting "better" in the environment is purely for human use. You need to grow up. You're the environmental nazis. You want to destroy and destroy and pretend you're doing something good, just like the Nazis.
@vgman94 You are talking trash. But keep it up. You only prove your ignorance. Atleast the wild bear had the chance and the years to live in the wild. But you will gladly feed a cow or chicken until you get him fattened up and then take em to the slaughter house. The bear was priveledged to die in such a manner.
I would rather go out the bears way, than the yearling calf or steer you picked up a Krogers wrapped in plastic.
@democrat That depends. Many bears look the same size at different stages of life. You could kill one that is the equivalent of a 20-year-old or a 60-year-old. I prefer vegetarianism over farming, but I prefer free-range/old style farming over hunting. Yet I prefer hunting over factory farming. That's how the line goes. How many hunters love strawmen, BTW? I'd really like to know. You hunters keep misrepresenting my position on farms as a distraction just so you can justify yourselves. Pathetic.
@vgman94 Who is justifying to hunt? I dont need s justification. Its a natural thing for a man to do. Besides, it doesnt matter what you think of me, it only matters what I think.
@democratichypocrit You know, psychopaths think the same thing. "Only I matter, no-one else matters!" It's immature and ridiculous. Hunting WITHOUT NECESSITY is not natural. Do you know why animals DON'T hunt when they're not hungry? Because they don't need to at the moment. It's far from natural, it's abhorrent.
@vgman94 Well with those statements you have just proven you know nothing about people and even less about wildlife.
But dont worry, it is people like you that keep our hobby truly exciting. Let me know when you can think of something else. You should perhaps do a bit more research on wildlife before you make such stupid statements.
@democratichypocrit I see you avoided every point I made and didn't try in the least to counter my arguments and barely reference a single point I made. Nice cowardness on your part. Of couse, since hunters use guns instead of trying to overpower animals themselves like wildlife does, it should only be natural for you to be cowards.
@vgman94 Oh, did you make a point? LOL. I didnt recognize it. So maybe you could fill me into what you were trying to say. Be careful, and think carefully before you use your fingers on the keyboard. Life is tricky, more for some than others.
@democratichypocrit I will try to be make as vivid as succinct as possible one last time; Animals are sentient. They can think, they feel pain and have emotions. This has scientific data to back it up. Some qualities such as thinking are obviously not to our level, but they have minds. As such, sentient beings capable of pain should not be harmed. Hunting for anything other than survival when there's alternatives such as free-range, vegetarianism, etc is an immoral and unneeded act.
@democratichypocrit (part 2) Furthermore, they have our basic senses at an extent equal or nearly equal to our own. Hunting them down gives them the same experience as if you were hunted down. There is absolutely no need for this. All hunting is an an anthropocentric form of entertainment for the sadistic. Animals are not objects to be used, morally and scientifically. Read up on a book by Marc Bekoff (who is a PhD) which explains animal emotions, consciousess and the like if you wish for proof.
@vgman94 Chimpanzees r know killers of other primates in Africa, &after killing their competition go into frenziers & mutilate their enemy. Grizzlyies r know killers of cubs from sow bears & kill the cubs to bring the sow into heat & make no efforts at eating the cub. Killer whales r know killers of not only seals but whales as well, & kill them then play with their kill with no appertite.. House cats kill & then play with dead mice, no intentions 2 eat them. Lions kill Hyennas, arch enemies.
@democrat Now after posting my last comment, I realized something: This is all besides thre point. The point is not what animals do to each other, it's what we do to animals. Are you saying simply because animals do bad things to each other, that means we can do whatever we want to them? So if I have 2 kids who fist fight, I can beat them up? No. Cats have humans as a food source. Strays/ferals never play with their food. They can't afford to. These arguments seem strong, but have faulty logic.
@vgman94 U see this is where u as well as people just like only make issues to support you agenda. When I hunted Africa, I actually got 2 witness two male Lions go ati it so the younger male Lion n better shape could take over the Pride from the older lion. The famale lions disapeared. Being the educated person that u r surely u know why? 2 save the lives of the cubs because when the Male lion of the pride is dethroaned, the new male lion kills all the cubs of the old lion. Do more research.
@democratichypocrit You do realize chimpanzees are our closest relatives, right? Dolphins and whales play around with their food, but it's only in rare times when there's a plentiful supply of food, and whales will play around, but eventually eat their kills. If humans didn't have laws, do you think many of us would be different? Do you not think that in the 200,000 years before we had civilization and recorded history, that a male spouse of our species would kill a female if she cheated on him?
@vgman94 Regardless how u want 2 crawfish from the conversation, u were completely shot out of the water. Your agenda would b a bit more credible if u would be truthful & not make up lies, especially of things u know very little about. Man is at the top of the food chain, whether u like it or not. What keeps him there is his ability 2 come up with ways 2 be in other predators domain & succeed. I have proven that u lie & I am higher n the food chain than u. Now go cry to your momma
@vgman94 Definition of "environmental nazi"--> tries to stop public grazing of domestic animals by local people on public land, pushes wolves down our throat so many domestic animals including dogs get slaughtered, tries to stop any logging regardless of whether it is good for the forest or not, tried to stop all mining so that people can utilize the resources, pretty much against jobs for people, and in the process, tries to close up all land for the supposed use of wildlife only. Nazis.
You have a very skewered view of environmentalists. We don't try to push wolves down your throats, we simply want you to respect animals on their own land (urban sprawl, look it up). I condone some protective practices in the case of protecting pets. So basically, if aliens came to Earth, used our land without our permission and used us as resources, would it be justified? Simply because we have more power, that doesn't mean we should or even need to utilize all the resources we come across.
@vgman94 Not a good analogy. PEOPLE not only evolved on the earth, we are the stewards and we also live here. Game management is why we have wildlife. Anything less and we end up like parts of Africa, devoid of animals. Local people respect animals much more than you will ever know. They just don't want environmentalists telling them how to live.
@Mont556n "we are the stewards". Self-proclaimed title. It's not very valid especially since there was never a steward species before in the entire 3.9 billion years of the Earth's history with living organisms. But whatever, I am tired of this conversation and we'll never get anywhere. May we agree to disagree and let this go? This is going around in circles and won't get us anywhere.
@vgman94 You are right. It is a waste of time talking to people who seem to think they have a right to tell others how to live and cannot admit they are dead wrong. Experience would cure that, but obviously you have none.
@Mont556n Gtreat white sharks have been filmed killing seals & flipping them around & later abandoning thier carcas. Your normal domestic Dog will kill cats & dogs, killing them and not eat them. Hippos have been know 2 fight 2 the death over territory. No eating there either. I have hunted four continents & many differnt animals. That is not what is important. Whats important is I have just proven that u r a liar, have an agenda & really dont know what the hell u r talking about.
@Mont556n That u as well as others who r anti hunting will lie & say what every u must to push your agenda. The truth 2 u & your kind is not important, only your agenda. Your whole discussion r ies & deception. U have no other purpose but to push your agenda with what every extreme required. When confronted with truth, u change the subject & place a different 2 take away from the fact that u were caught n lies & deception. U r sorta like a Used car salesman. What ever it takes 2 sell the car
@democratichypocrit Reread the posts bud. The name at the bottom is the poster, not the top. Me antihunting? You got the wrong guy. This week I am setting up my archery blind for deer. I just shot a limit of gouse on Friday. Elk hunting (hopefully, if the work is done) in two weeks. No antihunting here. FREEDOM here bud. To hell with the ecoterriorists who want to control the rest of us.
@aceher12 In the USA you can load a half ton full of apples and drop them in a pile to lure deer to your stand...what's the fickin difference? Or sit over a food plot, ha ha ha...
here in Alberta the bear baiting season is only in the spring, there is a bear season in the fall as well, but no baiting is permitted then. you can't bait deer over here, or any other animal for that matter like you can in some U.S. states. no food plot planting, the bear is the only animal here that you can bait
contrary to what some people with the "disney syndrome" tend to believe. it's about management, not completely devastating the population
I live in Northern California and we can't bait at all. I agree with your statement it is about management not exterminating the bear population. I would rather hunt and shoot mountain lions than bear but the tree hugging anti-hunting liberals in this state put an end to that. Most of these idiots have what you described " The Disney Syndrome". I would love to lock them in a cage with a mountain lion and then see what they had to say about the little kitty cat.
Great shot! Nothing wrong or immoral about baiting. It's not exactly a difficult form of hunting, but it's not unfair either. If the overall goal is meat in the freezer, I would like to accomplish that in the easiest and most efficient way possible. And in some states here in the US it is legal to bait.
Baiting, not hunting. Sitting in a blind shooting an animal feeding. Grow some balls, get out there , stalk in ,try not to shit in the womans panties you are wearing, get rushed by the angry bear, then try to make a 1 shot kill..... NOW THATS HUNTING, FUCK YOU CUNTS AND YOUR BAIT STATIONS..!!!!!
@sasha196969 fuck yeah man, thats what i do. Mountain hunter, no one is around i have no cell phone service theres no houses for acers and acers and a fuckload of walking for 1 single animal to have food for
Oh you a-hole "hunter" - such crap you spew. There is no justification for this. You are not a shepherd of the forest. What ignorant, juvenile thinking. You kill because you enjoy exerting power over a poor animal. The native Americans and other humans who truly had to hunt did not do what you do--and did not use the weapons you do. It is simply to exert power. Hunters should hunt only other humans--then it would be a sport.
Interesting video. However, hunting bear over bait is not only legal in the states it is also the preferred method. Hunting with hounds comes a close second.
if you put a bear and a man into a cage, trust me, the bear wont think twice of killing you while you are dreaming of your veggie sandwich and your prius.
Big hard hunters ugg ugg you men should stay at home and play with eachothers tiny worms as any respectable women would find this so called sport very offputting. Real men don't hurt animals!
@charliemia64 if you lived a thousand years ago, humanity would be doomed. Id rather shoot an animal and give it a quick death then having it slaughtered in an electric bath or a slaughter house.... if you dont know what im talking about, look into cattle and bird farming, and tell me what sounds more humane.
How many animals do you know get a last meal that they like before you run them over with your car? Any other means of hunting and they die with fear. This bear never knew what happened and died quickly. We shouldn't feed cows, pigs, and chickens before we kill them to eat them and make your designer shoes? Anti hunters make no sense.
bear baiting is legal in the states just not every state. for those of you who dont like hunting and say its not ethical... why. do you not eat meat? for every piece of meat you eat an animal had to die. at least these wild animals werent caged and then killed like cows and chicken...or maybe thats morally acceptable? im a little confused here guys?
Canada would have da red star up its white ass if not fo America! An whoever shot dis Bear, yo a PUSSY! Want to go a few rounds in da ring wit me you WHITE MOTHERFUCKER! I'd whip yo chicken shit WHITE ASS BITCH!
Another shinning example of the mighty sportsman hunter . Its very sad to see what some people have evolved into , premeditated murder of baited animals who are trying to find something to eat . I sometimes wish the role would change and the hunter become the hunted . Sound fair ?

@nitroexpress700 Most hunters these days don't hunt purely for sustenance, they hunt for sport. But, hey, some people find fulfillment by putting beauty and wonder into the world - some find fulfillment by taking beauty and wonder out of the world. That's life. If a hunter hunts responsibly, and is diligent about taking all reasonable steps to avoid as much cruelty as is possible, who am I to tell them they shouldn't be able to end life for the fun of it?

Yes hunting with a gun is a quick death for the bear, but do not dis bow hunters, THE REAL HUNTERS, any one can pull a trigger, it takes skill to put an arrow where you want it, it was J.F.K who said, " we choose to go to the moon not because these things are easy, but because they are HARD"
DethMetalNinja1 2 months ago
@DethMetalNinja1 anyone can pull a trigger but aiming it right is a whole other story. kickback and lift alone can cause a gunshot to miss completely or seriously harm an animal without dropping it letting it escape to die slowly.
gun hunters are just as much hunters as bow hunters. you are in no position to judge them.
cavemantiger 1 month ago
This is a great way of hunting. We have high powered rifles and have learned the best ways to attract bears. People that say it's not fair and we should use a knife, primitive bow, or spear to kill them are monsters! Humans have advanced beyond cruel leg traps, nooses, and other tortuous means of hunting. Watch national geo. sometime. The world is cruel. This bear was killed quickly, and will provide many meals. The animal that died for meat you bought at the store had a much worse fate.

STFNIANCU 2 months ago
If you don't feed the bears and other wild creatures human food their populations will take care of themselves. Its a travesty that people who are armed with technology which vastly tilts the balance of power between the hunter and the hunted call it "sport" when they go out shooting. Let them go out with a bow and arrow, or even just a knife and there might be reason to respect them. Otherwise its just an ambush with superior firepower.
openfifth 2 months ago
@openfifth It occurs to me that a lion bringing down a zebra, a black bear taking a fawn, a cat taking a mouse or a human with a bow taking a deer are not really any more or less "fair" than this.

While baiting may be legal in certain states and certain parts of Canada...I never me do it. To me, it's just plain unethical to hunt over bait or use dogs....even for small game.

For people like it the world is a place full of suffering, if they tried to hunt an animal like this would make melee pieces. There is a God (YHWH) and He all-seeing one day be judged by their actions. but that He bless you and your family too. Bears is not Food ¿Are you stupid?
gamkielech 4 months ago in playlist Violencia animal
@gamkielech You have a lot of nerve asking if someone else is stupid when you make comments like "Bears is not food" go back to grammar school moron, you should say "Bears are not food" and contrary to what you believe bears are food. Properly cared for and prepared bear meat is one of the best tasting wild game meats and as far as I know God provided all animals for human use.
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@mrx9782003 "Bears are not food"- is that all you've got? And how do you know that God provided all animals for human use? That sort of thinking has caused the extinction of a LOT of biodiversity and it's not ever coming back- so you can go to hell and take your perverted religious beliefs with you.
And don't forget to have a nice day and remember how that bear must have felt. Damned sloppy shooting.
silverlight68 4 months ago
@silverlight68 LMFAO, this goes to show what an ignorant, uneducated, propaganda believing fool that you are. First read the comment again then you will see that I used the "God" comment as a retort to the other moron who implied that all hunters were going to go to hell for their actions. Secondly, urban population growth is responsible for more habitat destruction and animal extinction than hunting could ever produce. Con't
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@silverlight68 Third, we have laws in place that are designed for optimal animal population sustainability therefore there will never be an extinction due to over hunting. Forth, do some research on the whitetail deer and tell me what the estimated population was in North America when the first settlers arrived and then tell me what the population is now. When you find out that you are wrong you can send me an apology. Last but not least "Bears are food and they are delicious"
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@mrx9782003 You might be retarded, but that doesn't make you right! I know what the facts are, buddy, don't think you have anything to teach me. I've hunted pretty much all my life and still I cannot understand what practical use posting this kind of video has. Let me tell you: NONE. The only thing you've accomplished here is showing something getting shot and killed, and it wasn't a very clean shot either.
silverlight68 4 months ago
And what really gets the PETA fanatics going is not exactly the idea of hunting, but the boneheads like yourself who do this sort of thing: posting these kinds of video's that don't glorify hunting, but glorify 'killing'. This footage does not show hunting, it shows 'death'. A real hunter has at least some respect for the game he's after, but you don't have that respect.
silverlight68 4 months ago
Would like to tell me about the "then and now" buffalo populations while you're at it? Had not a thing to do with urban encroachment but with characters like you who were ignorant and had NO RESPECT. As for the whitetail deer populations (all of which is besides the point), take away the bears, wolves, and other predators and the population will increase. So in fact, you are only contributing to the deer problem but removing a natural population limiting factor.
silverlight68 4 months ago
@silverlight68 He moron, you are doing a great job of showing everyone what an idiot you are. For starters this is not even my video, I had merely commented that "bears are good food" As for the buffalo I agree that the early settlers caused a massive decline in the population but they were not hunters. They were shooters who killed animals and left them to rot. NO true hunter will waste the meat of an animal, period.
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@silverlight68 Also if you do a bit of research you will find that the farming practices of the prairies have all but caused the extinction of that naturally occurring prairie grass which was the mainstay of the buffalo. The main reason for these farming practices is to provide corn and grains for all of your processed foods and your steroid filled meat. So indirectly we are all responsible for the decline of animal populations even you tree hugging vegans.
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@mrx9782003 Who's the bigger idiot? Do you know what a vegan even is? They don't eat (steroid filled) meat. Second, I got my first gun when I was 11 and had three by the age of 16. Did my hunter safety course at age 14. Had small game, migratory bird as well as big game licenses. Plus 20 years of taxidermy experience on top of that. And I have RESPECT for wildlife as a hunter as well as a human. Now piss off and go back to your mommy.
silverlight68 4 months ago
@silverlight68 There you go again running your mouth without actually reading the comment. Where did I say that Vegans eat meat? I didn't. Please come back when you have something intelligent to say.
mrx9782003 4 months ago
@mrx9782003 "and grains for all of your processed foods and your steroid filled meat. So indirectly we are all responsible for the decline of animal populations even you tree hugging vegans." Key words here being 'your' and 'you'. When you write a comment directed to me and use those two words in it, then you are referring to 'me', not your neighbor. Dumbass.
silverlight68 4 months ago
It's a direct inference that vegans eat meat according to your rant in referring to me with "YOUR steroid filled meat" but in the same breath again referring to me "YOU tree-hugging vegan." It's very basic elementary school level English grammar. This is a very clever oxymoron you've written here, with 'moron' being the key word LOL!!
Keep it up dude, I have all kind of time to show you and nearly a million others how smart you're not.
silverlight68 4 months ago

One more thing that you know nothing about yet you chose to comment like you actually have something intelligent to say.

Good clean kill, nothing wrogn with keeping the bear population down a bit.
Mont556n 5 months ago
@Mont556n By that logic, shouldn't we do that with humans? Let's kill all the criminals and destroy the nations we don't like! This logic is stupid. Capturing and sterilizing them or castrating them is a more humane than going out and killing them for no reason.
vgman94 5 months ago
@vgman94 Your problem, Sir, is that you can't tell the difference between a bear and a human. I would not call bear hunting "going out and killing them for no reason". Many people (in fact, its the law) eat bears. Nothing wrong with a regulated season that brings in money for habitat and regulation. People like yourself contribute nothing.
Mont556n 5 months ago
@Mont556n No, sir. I simply don't act on a power trip thinking I'm superior simply for my species. Hubris is what makes people think they're superior when they're not. More habitat for hunting, not conservation half the time. Predators like wolves and scavengers like foxes are killed so more deer can roam for hunters to kill, and hunters kill the strongest, not the weakest of them. No, we're just people who contribute to morality.
vgman94 5 months ago
@vgman94 oh shut up and put ur damned bleeding heart away, ppl kill the strongest because they want meat and have the ability to do so, predatory animals such as coyote and fox, and just so happens mr black bear are over populating certain areas and starving
FUCKSCOTTNELSON 5 months ago
@FUCKNELSON "Just so happens" O RLY? And where did you get such "information"? Killing is not the answer. Put your barbarian senses away and get civilized. Dead carcasses feed coyotes and foxes. If you take the dead, even MORE will starve. Meat isn't a necessity. The majority of people can live perfectly fine on a vegetarian diet. Even if you do eat meat, get it from a humane farm (not a factory farm), don't scare the hell out of an animal and murder it. Humans are overpopulating, not animals.
vgman94 5 months ago
@vgman94 Thats your slant, not mine, and no documented evidence exists to support you. Foxes and coyotes are killed for fur, and are a great renewable resource for many in rural areas. Hunters shoot deer for food. If you think only the best are harvested, you have never been hunting. It simply does not work that way. I do beleive people are superior. We MANAGE game herds and predators. That is why they are still here today. It has been show wolves kill more healty animals than weak.
Mont556n 4 months ago
@Mont556n Animals are not a "resource". They are sentient beings with emotions and minds. Read up on Galloping Colts, Richard Sarjeant and Peter Singer. Humans are not supposed to manage wildlife. Wildlife regulated itself until Europeans can to destroy it for their almighty economy. You want to manage wildlife? Help it become a self-sustaining ecological system instead of going out there for some fun. That's all it is unless you don't have the physiology for vegetarianism.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 A vegi? Figures. Animals have been managed for the past 100 years and we have abundant game animals because of it. Without the North Americian game management plan, we would have nothing. Humans are suppose to manage wildlife. If they don't, they become extinct. Been shown over and over. VEGETARIAN --> Indian name for poor hunter.
Mont556n 4 months ago

ANYONE3041937kyc 4 months ago
@ANYONE3041937kyc sorry I meant to say they can't keep up
ANYONE3041937kyc 4 months ago
@vgman94 There would be no wildlife without management. "All we need to do is stop urban sprawl". Good luck with that. There are plenty of predators such as wolves in Canada and Alaska. We don't need wolves here in any sense and trying to reverse the clock back 200 years with people in the equation is utterly ridiculous. Not so sure wildlife did well without people. 99.8% of all animals living on the earth became extinct WITHOUT people. Utilize the resources, do it right, but use it.
Mont556n 4 months ago
@Mont556n Now this is just ridiculous. "99.8% of all animals living on the earth became extinct WITHOUT people" over BILLIONS of years. We've destroyed thousands of species in 10,000 years. "We don't need wolves here in any sense". Not you, but the animals themselves deserve to live and the ecosystem has a need for them. Urban sprawl needs to be stopped by using Buddhist Economics and stablizing the population. If we do not, ecological and societal collapse will happen sooner or later.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Nope. You are ridiculous. Totally. You obviously need to understand economics and how it pretains to wildlife. You cannot turn the clock back. Environmental nazis like yourself do more to harm wildlife then help. "We don't need wolves in any sense" is true in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. The wildlife did just fine without them...in fact, did much better...than now. We as people replaced wolves.
Mont556n 4 months ago
@Mont556n You're completely ignorant. Try getting some environmental classes. Humans cannot effectively replace wildlife. Simply because it's not affecting you, that doesn't mean there's not a consequence. Wildlife never needed humans and the only thing that is getting "better" in the environment is purely for human use. You need to grow up. You're the environmental nazis. You want to destroy and destroy and pretend you're doing something good, just like the Nazis.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 You are talking trash. But keep it up. You only prove your ignorance. Atleast the wild bear had the chance and the years to live in the wild. But you will gladly feed a cow or chicken until you get him fattened up and then take em to the slaughter house. The bear was priveledged to die in such a manner.
I would rather go out the bears way, than the yearling calf or steer you picked up a Krogers wrapped in plastic.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democrat That depends. Many bears look the same size at different stages of life. You could kill one that is the equivalent of a 20-year-old or a 60-year-old. I prefer vegetarianism over farming, but I prefer free-range/old style farming over hunting. Yet I prefer hunting over factory farming. That's how the line goes. How many hunters love strawmen, BTW? I'd really like to know. You hunters keep misrepresenting my position on farms as a distraction just so you can justify yourselves. Pathetic.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Who is justifying to hunt? I dont need s justification. Its a natural thing for a man to do. Besides, it doesnt matter what you think of me, it only matters what I think.
LOL.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democratichypocrit You know, psychopaths think the same thing. "Only I matter, no-one else matters!" It's immature and ridiculous. Hunting WITHOUT NECESSITY is not natural. Do you know why animals DON'T hunt when they're not hungry? Because they don't need to at the moment. It's far from natural, it's abhorrent.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Well with those statements you have just proven you know nothing about people and even less about wildlife.
But dont worry, it is people like you that keep our hobby truly exciting. Let me know when you can think of something else. You should perhaps do a bit more research on wildlife before you make such stupid statements.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democratichypocrit I see you avoided every point I made and didn't try in the least to counter my arguments and barely reference a single point I made. Nice cowardness on your part. Of couse, since hunters use guns instead of trying to overpower animals themselves like wildlife does, it should only be natural for you to be cowards.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Oh, did you make a point? LOL. I didnt recognize it. So maybe you could fill me into what you were trying to say. Be careful, and think carefully before you use your fingers on the keyboard. Life is tricky, more for some than others.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democratichypocrit I will try to be make as vivid as succinct as possible one last time; Animals are sentient. They can think, they feel pain and have emotions. This has scientific data to back it up. Some qualities such as thinking are obviously not to our level, but they have minds. As such, sentient beings capable of pain should not be harmed. Hunting for anything other than survival when there's alternatives such as free-range, vegetarianism, etc is an immoral and unneeded act.
vgman94 4 months ago

Lions kill Hyennas, arch enemies.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democrat Now after posting my last comment, I realized something: This is all besides thre point. The point is not what animals do to each other, it's what we do to animals. Are you saying simply because animals do bad things to each other, that means we can do whatever we want to them? So if I have 2 kids who fist fight, I can beat them up? No. Cats have humans as a food source. Strays/ferals never play with their food. They can't afford to. These arguments seem strong, but have faulty logic.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 U see this is where u as well as people just like only make issues to support you agenda. When I hunted Africa, I actually got 2 witness two male Lions go ati it so the younger male Lion n better shape could take over the Pride from the older lion. The famale lions disapeared. Being the educated person that u r surely u know why? 2 save the lives of the cubs because when the Male lion of the pride is dethroaned, the new male lion kills all the cubs of the old lion. Do more research.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democratichypocrit You do realize chimpanzees are our closest relatives, right? Dolphins and whales play around with their food, but it's only in rare times when there's a plentiful supply of food, and whales will play around, but eventually eat their kills. If humans didn't have laws, do you think many of us would be different? Do you not think that in the 200,000 years before we had civilization and recorded history, that a male spouse of our species would kill a female if she cheated on him?
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Regardless how u want 2 crawfish from the conversation, u were completely shot out of the water. Your agenda would b a bit more credible if u would be truthful & not make up lies, especially of things u know very little about. Man is at the top of the food chain, whether u like it or not. What keeps him there is his ability 2 come up with ways 2 be in other predators domain & succeed. I have proven that u lie & I am higher n the food chain than u. Now go cry to your momma
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@vgman94 Definition of "environmental nazi"--> tries to stop public grazing of domestic animals by local people on public land, pushes wolves down our throat so many domestic animals including dogs get slaughtered, tries to stop any logging regardless of whether it is good for the forest or not, tried to stop all mining so that people can utilize the resources, pretty much against jobs for people, and in the process, tries to close up all land for the supposed use of wildlife only. Nazis.
Mont556n 4 months ago
You have a very skewered view of environmentalists. We don't try to push wolves down your throats, we simply want you to respect animals on their own land (urban sprawl, look it up). I condone some protective practices in the case of protecting pets. So basically, if aliens came to Earth, used our land without our permission and used us as resources, would it be justified? Simply because we have more power, that doesn't mean we should or even need to utilize all the resources we come across.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 Not a good analogy. PEOPLE not only evolved on the earth, we are the stewards and we also live here. Game management is why we have wildlife. Anything less and we end up like parts of Africa, devoid of animals. Local people respect animals much more than you will ever know. They just don't want environmentalists telling them how to live.
Mont556n 4 months ago
@Mont556n "we are the stewards". Self-proclaimed title. It's not very valid especially since there was never a steward species before in the entire 3.9 billion years of the Earth's history with living organisms. But whatever, I am tired of this conversation and we'll never get anywhere. May we agree to disagree and let this go? This is going around in circles and won't get us anywhere.
vgman94 4 months ago
@vgman94 You are right. It is a waste of time talking to people who seem to think they have a right to tell others how to live and cannot admit they are dead wrong. Experience would cure that, but obviously you have none.
Mont556n 4 months ago
@Mont556n Gtreat white sharks have been filmed killing seals & flipping them around & later abandoning thier carcas. Your normal domestic Dog will kill cats & dogs, killing them and not eat them. Hippos have been know 2 fight 2 the death over territory. No eating there either. I have hunted four continents & many differnt animals. That is not what is important. Whats important is I have just proven that u r a liar, have an agenda & really dont know what the hell u r talking about.
democratichypocrit 4 months ago
@democratichypocrit ??????? So whats your point?
Mont556n 4 months ago

YOUareALLasleep 4 months ago
here in Alberta the bear baiting season is only in the spring, there is a bear season in the fall as well, but no baiting is permitted then. you can't bait deer over here, or any other animal for that matter like you can in some U.S. states. no food plot planting, the bear is the only animal here that you can bait
contrary to what some people with the "disney syndrome" tend to believe. it's about management, not completely devastating the population
EdMailhot1 5 months ago
@EdMailhot1

And in some states here in the US it is legal to bait.
frenchie1936 6 months ago

Baiting, not hunting. Sitting in a blind shooting an animal feeding. Grow some balls, get out there , stalk in ,try not to shit in the womans panties you are wearing, get rushed by the angry bear, then try to make a 1 shot kill..... NOW THATS HUNTING, FUCK YOU CUNTS AND YOUR BAIT STATIONS..!!!!!

Hunters should hunt only other humans--then it would be a sport.
doltbezoar 6 months ago
@doltbezoar
Some hunters DO have to hunt to support ther family !!!
What you call "to exert power" is a quick and humane kill !!
you say "Hunters should hunt only other humans--then it would be a sport." ????
I don´t know where you live, but where I live THAT is illegal !!!

charliemia64 7 months ago

No man can really feel like a man, until he kills a bear. I bet later on in the day, they all got together, had a few beers and sang Macho Man.
rohag735 7 months ago
bear baiting is legal in the states just not every state. for those of you who dont like hunting and say its not ethical... why. do you not eat meat? for every piece of meat you eat an animal had to die. at least these wild animals werent caged and then killed like cows and chicken...or maybe thats morally acceptable? im a little confused here guys?
