in real japanese history Yoshitsune was a general of the Minamoto clan of Japan in the late Heian Period, was suppose to be a excellent swordsman, of whom both Jin and Mugen would want to fight in a heartbeat :P

in history he was defeated and forced to perform Seppuku, but apparently a long time after his death ppl kept saying they saw him so he became a prominent ghost swordman figure, sry for the long text XD

Why are people bitching about the dub I think they are great I watched one episode in Japanese could not take it they always get a dude with a voice that is a weird kind of deep and a dude with an effeminate voice to do all the all the voices and maybe they throw a chick in there if they have a serious female character.
