Where I live, seeing a coyote carcass beside the highway never occurred 10-12 years ago. Now, in any 15 minute drive along the highway, I will see several carcasses in a metropolitan area of 500,000 residents. Rabbit populations are down, quail populations are down, waterfowl populations are down, etc. while coyote and fox populations have exploded.

As the old foxes die the younger wander until they find an empty territory. @BEEMANCOD The average person even if they did have a gun would very quickly run out of ammo. Short of a huge stockade of firearms and ammo i doubt they will be that great a factor in survival that other weapons could not replace. Stuff like food, water and shelter would be far more immediate factors.

The only thing that I feel really badly or 'right wing' about in this video is the farmer in prison for defending his home, I remember that and it seems wrong as fuck. i just wanted to say that i love the UK like i love the U.S.A. ours is a History that has shared some ups and downs, but we love you...and its not just the fish and Chips (although it certainly is a factor... lol.) my family has Battled wars along side allied British Troops, and we would not have it any other way. it makes us proud to know we have family "over there" still, as well as our Brothers from "other mothers"... it would disturb me to think that would EVER change... defense is a good reason to own a weapon, but the second amendment was primarily so that the populous need not fear its government and the military it controls. A disarmed citizenry is at risk. any tool can be misused.. I'd rather the tools not be regulated, but the penalties be enforced for the misuse of them.. and the rules equally applied regardless of station, race or creed. Sadly it is not so in the US. @BENTLEYQUAMP Foxes, much like coyotes, become a nuisance when left unchecked. When the large predators are removed, nature gets out of balance. Where I live, seeing a coyote carcass beside the highway never occurred 10-12 years ago. Now, in any 15 minute drive along the highway, I will see several carcasses in a metropolitan area of 500,000 residents. Rabbit populations are down, quail populations are down, waterfowl populations are down, etc. while coyote and fox populations have exploded.

@jocwalk The fox population in the UK is fairly static. They are territorial so there are only a finite number of territories. As the old foxes die the younger wander until they find an empty territory. Thus the claims from fox hunters that they are controlling pests are untrue, also if that were so surely shooting foxes would b alot cheaper and easier. Short of a huge stockade of firearms and ammo i doubt they will be that great a factor in survival that other weapons could not replace. Stuff like food, water and shelter would be far more immediate factors.

We have a case in Britain where the government went after something that was never any kind of a problem to society, let alone a significant problem worth curtailing freedoms over, and at best, they've accomplished nothing in exchange for taking those rights away. While in the Uk there is a average of 600 murders total with only around 100 of them involving guns. The only thing that I feel really badly or 'right wing' about in this video is the farmer in prison for defending his home, I remember that and it seems wrong as fuck. But that's not necessarily to do with firearms is it, and I don't know enough about the case, the burglars weren't armed and the boy that's now dead was exactly a hardened criminal at 16. There was a case more recently in Salford where a man wasn't convicted for killing intruders into his home, so it's not all bad.

I did not see the article that indicates that Obama is trying to remove the guns. There are gun control idiots that do want to remove guns but not Obama. Document please. There is a constitution that guarantees the right to posses guns. Until and unless that is changed according to the constitution there is no treaty that can make that demand that can be honored. This isn't about guns, this is about being "politically correct" in trying to please organizations like PETA etc. that all liberties are being taken away. It's about tradition and liberty of choice and freedom - the ban on fox hunting and guns are symptoms of that erosion.
