Jackie Chan and Jet Li are not "movie magic", Jet li is a former Wushu champion and won 1rst place in the national tournament, and Jackie Chan grew up in a Peking Opera School learning all sorts of Kung Fu during his childhood. And they can really do most of the stuff they do in their movies
I feel honored to be a student in Wing Chun and traditional Jeet Kune Do. Especially since there are no other Kung Fu schools around where I live. THANK YOU SIFU!
Back when I was in Kung-Fu movies we didn't even had wires, we actually flew in mid-air like superman while using real swords to fight each other. Yeah!
the history of wing tsun in here is wrong... ng moi was a shaolin monk who originally created the sytem. She taught it to Yim wing chun, who taught it to her husband. When he died, he named it after her.
The so called 'master' Wong needs to build up some muscle tone. Look at about 7:08. Dont tell me his royal puniness is able to fight against the huge foreign devil, let along the Mongolians invading the Great Wall! LOL! Wing chun or not!
@mofotox Being too big slows you down. Look at Bruce Lee and Ip Man, They were two of the better Wing Chun users and they are not as big as the guys in the military. It's about speed and muscle strength as well as reflexes. When you get hit multiple times and arms and legs constantly locked and every movement space stolen off you is enough to win the fight.

I don't know why it's generally accepted that MMA type martial artists would destroy Wing Chun fighters.

wing chun is not used to keep your distance between you and your opponent. its used to take down your opponent as quickly and efficiently as possible
guns1312 11 months ago 5
@guns1312 I agree !
Wing Chun is also used to delfect weapons or fist coming towards you and then some joint locking.
