some of you can explain to me how to play the harmonics on the strings I want? For example, on the 3rd string (5 string Bass) at the seventh fret is E. .. how do I set Trilian to play the natural harmonics on the 3rd string at the seventh fret? Help me please!!!
Hey, have you guys seen the new Windows 7 equipped StudioBLADE keyboard workstation? It's perfect for running all your favorite Windows compatible software and plug ins. Check out the videos on our channel by clicking the link below!
buying Trillian Next week, VSt's just dont cut it when it comes to the bottom end with Bass, always something missing, but this is a very fancy sampler with near almost analog feel to it.
@cheapspace Sure can. My suggestion for you would be to use the Sythesis capabilities of Omnisphere. They are easy to use and very powerful. Perhaps a video on doing that is in order. ;)
You just rock ! You can make a tutorial video without hesitation in the voice, in a good quality and with some humour ! I learned already a lot with your differents videos.
It is short and percutive, but we learn a lot ! Congratulation
@MrWutcha Thank you for the props, man! Very happy that it helped you. Got another one planned that I think you will like...just need to get it done ;)
haha, this definitely doesnt showcase trillians possibilitys. if you want to make trance, electro or techno basses or whatever sylenth1 might be the right tool.
@orgorgorgorgorg Well I was trying to keep it simple with this tutorial. Trilian can go much deeper of course, but the beauty of it is that regardless of your skill level, it's easy to use. I can't really say that for other virtual instruments.
@WARDISWARD Unless I'm mistaken, Trillian only used the sampled waveforms from it's library. They sampled the raw waveforms from many hardware synths though, with filters, etc, bypassed, so it's still very versatile.
Spectrasonics Omnisphere on the other hand does have sophisticated DSP capabilities, which can be combined with the 40+GB core sample library.
That's the only fundamental difference between the 2 pieces of software, except for the content of their respective libraries.
@itsoutty Have you seen the videos made by spectrasonics on the product. Not too great from a tutorial point of view, but they give you a good idea of what you can do with the software.
Kool. I just got protools 10 and I would
Like to add this plugin in to protools.
How would you add this to protools?

Your voice sounds like a cartoon character or something. Have you considered voice acting? You probably are a voice actor..

PLEASE HELP...
If I buy Trillian, will It still load my old Trilogy tracks properly?
I am a little worried of losing tracks as I won't be keeping both on my hard drive...
Thank you!
bassicuk1986 1 year ago
@bassicuk1986 Yes, it should. Trilogy sounds are included in Trilian, and they are categorized in a way that you can find them easily.
TheMIDIhead 1 year ago
@bassicuk1986 Yes, you should be able to do that. Trilogy patches are all organized within Trilian so they are easy to find.

are the raw saw, square, osc waveforms samples or dsp generated ?
WARDISWARD 1 year ago
@WARDISWARD as far as i know trillian does both. samples and internal synthesis, so you can combine it...

my favorite patch is the novation bass station octobass patch, adjust the cutoff lower and the res. higher, and you got the killer funkbass sound
