Hello from Australia. Nice playing :-) What brand and size of strings are you using on this Curbow?

The original strings that came with mine were too bright for my taste so I swapped them for Tomastik-Infeld Jazz flats but now the sound is a bit too dull :-(

merci pour ton commentaire ! pour ce morceau la basse est en direct dans une petite table Yam via carte son. Pour les concerts je tourne avec un veil Hughes & kettner basskick 515 trés bien !

C'est une BONNE basse assez polyvalente ( à tendance funk). Je l'ai "malheureusement" vendue car j'ai pas mal de basses & je ne peux pas tout garder mais j'en ai tjs1 en Fretless (modifiée) que tu peux écouter dans mes vidéos.Bye

I have three Curbow's 6, 5, and 4 string fretless. I love these basses. You just have to be carefull for temperature changes because the neck is very sensitive. Have a truss rod tool ready.

it's a pretty good bass, light weight, easy to play with "funky tone" (I mean with a medium tone/mid frequencies).The only thing is she can sometime "detune" with the weather.Love the sound of your JB 60's(o!o).Bye(see my videos with my SR Ibanez-she sound lovely too.cheers.

Hello,

the best things to do is to try ! Some people thinks that If you don't pay your bass a lot of money it won't be a good bass. I have played a lot of different basses (ibanez,fender,yamaha,music man ...) and I can tell you that sometimes you only pay a "name".

Some don't like this curbow bass only because she wasn't made with wood.(body: luthite & fingerboard: ebonol)

I think it's a pretty good bass.

Very good for funky stuff. a very easy neck.

The only thing is that she "don't like " if the weather change (the neck detuned a little bit).

C'est une assez bonne basse pour le prix,c'est vrai.

J'ai changé les cordes d'origine qui ne sonnaient vraiment pas depuis,elle sonne encore mieux.
