those are really good catfish bait. throw them out on the bottom with a 7/0 gamakatsu hook and one or two egg sinkers with about a foot long leader. you will get yourself a monster flathead.
i could catch some pretty large ones where i go and i use a white trout magnet, these fish pretty much go for anything, but if u fish for them for awhile, they stop biting.

It is a nice fish. Depending on the Species of redhorse.
A Shorthead redhorse 20 inch is large
A Golden Redhorse 20 inches is large
A Silver Redhorse 25 inches is large
A River Redhorse 25 inches is nice but closer to 30 is big
Greater Redhorse is much the same for size as the river redhorse
