  • i thought this was a street dance competition? how come it's not even fit for the streets? looks more like a cheer dance routine to me... DLSU dance company is great, they are really good dancers.. but their routine is just wrong.

  • who would incorporate a jete in a streetdance routine? ain't even newstyle hiphop to begin with. camera angles horrible considering that most just wanna see the dance not people. slow section reminds a lot of how PAS swags it. consequent popping section nice but could've went harder. tutting and locking segs after that interesting but not so complex. overall it was nice of them to try some styles that filipinos rarely do (or know for that frank of a matter), but they better own what they do.

  • LSDC-Street continues to inspire.. Still cry whenever I think of their last concert held in DLSU. DAMN. ANIMO LA SALLE!

  • What the crack. I can't believe that this DLSU dance company won.

  • well, at least may na-isip ang la salle nah magdagdag ng ganito sah closing ceremony... at least hnd nah boring...

  • Hahaha, bitter ang mga nagdislike

  • pang kids di me na impress!!!

  • lasalle lng kaya champion hmmm!!!!!

  • Best in Dead-Air!

As in. Cheer dance nga to eh di ba?

  • love it

  • @dreamfighter23 walang mukhang skwater!! puro HOTT!!

  • UP should clearly won this contest, but to those people who are saying DLSU paid the judge in order to win, shame on you and please stop, you're just showing the world how narrow minded you are.

  • i lilly lilly lilly like it... pero pangit ng kutchum... hahaha... dahil sa kutchum di sabay sabay ung ang Wave ng body... :DD mala ryan bang... wahahaha

  • It was great. UP, huh. Animo LS!

  • @AkoSiJJ21 Ok. Street dance + Angas= squatters. >.<

  • It was great. UP, huh. Animo LS!

  • mas magaling UP,, ganda.. linis ng routine..

UP ... all in all Up rocks ...

  • pero magaling din nmn cla..hahaha..

  • 2:44 na title ng music?

  • All schools we're good. I mean, nakita na natin yun eh. Karaniwan dun yun yung pinakita nila sa Skechers. :) No offense meant. :)

  • ATENEO , FEU (or FEU first then ATENEO), UST, UP. That's the REAL result!

  • i don think they deserve to win... FEU should!

  • i don think they deserve to win... FEU should!

  • it should be up not dlsu... tsk,.tskk..

  • LAKAS! Thumbs up :)

  • congrats LSDC-street :) u're always the best.

  • great song choices. awesome choreography to the music. extreme energy. nothing too sexy. straight to the point. exciting and captivating. different and unique. so much synchronized yet "free" movement throughout the entire number. great fluidity. and...so smooth! THIS is street dance. amazing.

so proud. you guys deserve this. :)

  • puro backhandspring, backflip at cart wheel ung breakdance nila! may na iba lng ng konti ung coindrop tska mga get up! hehe! ok na rn! ..

They're not biass, they are deserving cause they ripped it, they performed leaving their hearts in the stage of araneta, and all of them are BFAB!!!

    - haters are so bitter!

  • from what i know, the lights were supposed to be set to white IF YOU DONT HAVE A LIGHTING PERSONNEL. weird naman na BLACK yung default lights diba? and, pinagbawal na ang special play of lights during the competition, if meron daw, points will be deducted. and it is in the rules that STROBES and any other lighting effect will cause deductions to the team who did it. weird naman that all of the other teams used strobes para hindi makita yung dance nila. i saw the printed rules.

  • i thnk dat.next year make changes like for cheerdance other schools in UAAP ask for some dancers from the streetdance crew of their school to join the pep squad just for the cheerdance compet. and i think that it should not be allowed next year. and another one is. like cads,up street ,lsdc street . ALL of them are the HipHop versions of the school and i think that based on skills it is unfair for them to compete with the feu pep squad so as salinggawi. i hope you get what i mean too hehe.. :D

  • @acmacy19 This is a very good point to make. :)

  • @chriscampo

Every dance crew has their signature style or way of dancing. Masyado lang pabor sa UE that you bash other schools na mas maganda performance ng UE. Sorry pero try to tell that to me pag nag CHAMPIONS na UE. You criticize Hataw, Airforce, LSDC and UP na mas maganda performance ng UE kung ganon baket sila may crown na ang UE wala pa.

  • Awesum Job La Salle.. Way to go!! i'm not a La Sallean nor a dancer, but I definitely dig your number, those were really sizzling moves you gave off in there.. Great Work you deserve the Title. ^^

  • Yey! Good job LSDC :) You deserve it. Nevermind the haters :) Its about inspiring not boasting! :)

  • i would appreciate if people would comment more on HOW the group did their routine and NOT the immature, zero class "luto" or "binayaran ang judges". I dont think the host university nor the judges would give up their integrity for a biased win. :)

  • wala namg maaus na camera director jan ?.. hahaha

  • And you guys cannot compare this to ABS-CBN's Showtime because this is way different than that, nor blame the lightings because each school really had a representative for the lighting and effects manipulation, nor compare the dominance of the stunts and how often they were used because STREET DANCE is the main theme that was being battled in here. All teams of the 8 universities did a great job. The judges did their work fairly. LSDC-STREET INSPIRES PEOPLE, they never failed in doing so.

  • @ames1425j Tama nga naman. How dare you compare this super prestigious competition to that...that... pangmahirap na show! Showtime? Eeek! So kadiri ang baduy. Kaya nga I don't watch Philippine TV eh. Hmp. >.<

  • Hey guys, JC's right. Stop being negative na about LSDC-Street. They really did put hard work in this. You know what's the most valuable thing I see in LSDC-Street? They just want to inspire people. It doesn't mean that kapag host school ka, school mo na ang mananalo. Not even all the judges graduated from DLSU. You guys should check and review the criteria, rules and "deduction" points system of this competition (it is posted in Wikipedia).

  • -- SINONG JUDGE YUNG HINIRE NILA??????????????

  • @aDeQnAdiLaG From La Salle I thnk. why? mag-chachampion ba 'to TRASH na 'to kung hindi ganun.

  • @0528Darnelle hahaha well . .. :) daya naman kung ganon grrrrr

  • Congrats La Salle!!!

Basta streetdance umiikot tlga sa BIG 3 rivals...

    DLSU, UP, ADMU!!!

mga veteran sa field ng streetdancing!!! :D

  • Studio23's camera men absolutely did not do their performance justice. Someone took a video of their entire routine using a cellphone camera and even with that video quality, it blew me away. Haters, stop asking and wondering why they're the champions. They stood out from the rest of the crews. They're very much deserving to be called champions. Alternately, if you people can't really accept it, go to your little bitter corner on the left, stfd and stfu and stay there.

  • they deserve to win this (maganda ang effects ng lights pero my mali lang tlga sa light tech)all of the routines was dope very powerful LSDC use wisely without using a effect of the lights VERY WISE VERY OLD SKUL REPREZENTS LSDC CONGRATZ. AJ Bonite

  • when you say PERFORMANCE.. :D you have to see the dancer's facial expressions as well not just the CHOREO,ELEMENTS nd stuff. :D heehee.. and i think that is what other crews dont have. that's why it is really different to watch from a TV perspective coz you cant feel the EMOTION of the dancer. :)

  • when you say PERFORMANCE.. :D you have to see the dancer's facial expressions as well not just the CHOREO,ELEMENTS nd stuff. :D heehee..

  • Why do people nowadays prefer the gigil/tapon moves? It's sad to see how people are willing to overlook technique, technique which was executed properly by LSDC.

The way the haters comment, it's as if they know better than the judges or those who are actual street dancers.

  • i thnk dat.next year make changes like for cheerdance other schools in UAAP ask for some dancers from the streetdance crew of their school to join the pep squad just for the cheerdance compet. and i think that it should not be allowed next year. and another one is. like cads,up street ,lsdc street . • haha champion sila tlga?d nga?joke ba un?hahaha

  • The videography of ABS CBN is just awful.

It didn't even give justice to the routine

  • UE's performance is flat. Orchestral music from the start to finish. They lack variety of skills. They almost look sabay-sabay kasi very linear lang ang steps. Pero nothing special. Most of all, kulang sa precision. Its the small, intricate things that count. Plus the buhat/tungtong sa likod is so over utilized in local crews. Nakakasawa.

  • @chriscampo

    vallet or ballet?

    tuttung or tutting?

    Hence, STREETDANCE...

  • @chriscampo hanap ka sa youtube ng kapaereho ng choreo ng mga schools na sinasabi mo. those schools NEVER BITE. (if you know the term)Just cause they have a signature style doesnt mean di sila original. please watch at the crews your bashing. UP CADS CLARET AIRFORCE AND LSDC. they do Tutting and Bboy even wacking, dancehall, swag, popping, locking, iso, tricking etc. CLEARLY "BALLET" is not a form of streetdance (if ever aware ka). KUDOS to UE for giving a great performance. HATERS GONE HATE

  • @chriscampo "Vallet, tuttung and bboy?" Dude, UE's performance was full of build-up pero wala naman nangyari. Natatalo din naman ang La Salle. Pero in this compet, sila ang pinaka-malinis. If nasisimplehan ka sa galaw nila, then you better undestand that small/intricate movements are harder to pull off compared to the linear moves na bato lang ng bato.

Good job DLSU! >.<

  • ok.. so this is the very first streetdance competition and the host school is DLSU, right? i hate to think that this is luto. can we teach the students to be fair and just? it's so obvious that they're are just cute and nothing else.

i think they spent too much money hosting this event. dang it's just money. pride and honor is what's more important. pinoy school competitions suck when people think that way. i wonder if there's another 2nd streetdance event.

  • When are some people going to understand that when it comes to dance, it's not about winning but about inspiring? I think all the schools did a great job but it was LSDC's time that night. Their concept revolved around all the participating universities. They showed no malice towards other schools in their routine so I don't see why some people feel the need to go around disrespecting them.

Stop the hate and spread the love. God bless guys! :)

  • @trojan0919 what UE did is not a street dancing. btw, do you know what street dancing means? and are there any rules that says that the host can't win any competition? i pity you, try using your brains HATERS.

  • @trojan0919 Ay, bitter?

  • BORING...

  • To the haters:

Hate all you want, LSDC-Street has already proven their worth through numerous competitions. Stop relying on this shitty video. If you guys watched live, you would conclude that the 3 schools that placed deserved their spot.

Another thing, you guys keep on mouthing off about how LSDC's routine was "amateur-ish", however would it change the fact that your school lost? It wouldn't, won't it?

Use this as a learning experience for your respective dance companies.

  • @imjustahappykid yes, it's a learning experience that school competitions like this suck big time with people wanting to control things.

  • dlsu pla ang nag champion? hindi maganda walang dating pang barangay pwede pa sila mag champion....

  • BITTER MUCH UE? Luto? Hahaha haters gon' hate. All the Universities thought YOU WERE gonna win? Hell no! What an aberration. Baka naman the place you were seated, kayo kayo lang nagaagree that UE should win. Too bad you weren't a judge to let your school win. B-I-T-T-E-R. YOU GUYS ARE INSULTING THE JUDGES WITH THE FACT THAT YOU CANNOT TAKE IN AND FULLY ACCEPT THAT DLSU WON. Even CADs were too happy for La Salle. So yeah, just do your best next time because it will still be NOT ENOUGH. HATERS. =p

  • pabi024 a better version of the piece. this video edit sucks^^^

  • right from the very start, LSDC's routine was so professional, unique, and clean :)

    SUPERB :D

  • Comment removed

  • The camera angles are crappy so it's not wise to rely on the footage. People I know who watched live said that DLSU stood out. They look suave on stage and hard hitting at the same time. They know CONTROL. This crew actually has skilled gymnasts but they toned down the stunts coz it has no bearing on the criteria provided. The problem is amateurs tend to be amazed by crews na mukhang nagwawala and gigil sa stunts. I recommend bawasan ang panonood ng Showtime.

  • @BodeLocke01 INDEED :)

  • Congrats! Animo Lasalle! Don't mind the haters, just dance! :D

  • there are tech representatives for the music and lighting of each school so if you think DLSU's lighting for the routine is bright. Its not their fault na hindi ganun ung lighting na pinili ng ibang schools for their routine :D

  • sobrang banban ng videography HAHAHAHA!!! studio 23 fail... :)

  • Come on guys, stop the hating! I am a former Dance X and Legit Status member and now a current member of CADS. In my opinion, the judges are right and that LSDC WON. Sa blocking run pa lang before the competition, alam ko na na LSDC ang panalo. The other school's could've won if they've joined a cheerdance competition. Props to FEU, UE, and NU. SOBRANG LUPET NG STUNTS NYO Pramis.

Anyway, Let's just respect the decision of the judges. - JC (CADS/XDX)

  • Well lets just celebrate dahil hindi na overcook ang la salle :)

  • DLSU kahit kelan never fails in dancing...sana sa mga lifting and kung ano ano pa sa cheerdancing....now la salle proves na magaling silang dancers....even if fun ako ng UST in terms of cheerdancing but sa sayaw sa inyo ako bilib pati sa ateneo...pero pag-creativity magaling UP

  • If this squad really deserves it then no one will be questioning their win , so how do you expect the viewers to react if they do know that the HAILED champion is not deserving of the title and considering that most of the judges were practically from or friends of LaSalle's host :)

  • @araem030 dancing has many forms but for now..DLSU really showed what is street dancing than other skuls..XD tama ung sinabi nung isa nag comment...even if im not from

  • @missFluffy08 . btw, do you know what street dancing means? and are there any rules that says that the host can't win any competition? i pity you, try using your brains HATERS.

  • @vyperpyx hey why don't you use your brain... hindi ako hater i'm just posting my opinion kaya no need for your pity... ndi ko sinabi na hindi pwedeng manalo ang host sa competition sinabi ko lang na mas gusto ko sa U.E

  • galing.. sarap ng luto ehh.. buti nga ndi naovercooked ung ibang schools ..grrr.. next time be fare nmn. di porket kayo host.. kayo dapat manalo? wth... ohh well.. salamat sa masarap na luto ..galingan nio pa ,:) btw .. im also not part of any uaap schools.. but i think. UE should have won .

  • @magnacarta666 . btw, do you know what street dancing means? and are there any rules that says that the host can't win any competition? i pity you, try using your brains HATERS.

  • Respond to this video... . btw, do you know what street dancing means? and are there any rules that says that the host can't win any competition? i pity you, try using your brains HATERS.

  • To Cameraman: Hindi po ASAP yan, paki ayos nmn Camera Angles nyo,

    WTF sarap batukan

  • champion na 'to?

  • LAKAAAAS

  • Two things I didn't feel in any other schools' performances: CONFIDENCE and ATTITUDE.

LSDC's got it. Maybe that's why they won?

  • even though the judges are credible, but sometimes, they make impossible things possible (you know what i mean).... i've seen all the other groups perform and if u would ask the majority, the credit really goes to either UE, UP, ADMU... they had intensity and the "Wow" factor from the audience

    peace to everyone..

  • It's different when you see it live. DON'T HATE.

  • should have been up or ue

  • Comment removed

  • i was seated next to UP crowd in the patron area and they were all cheering for La Salle. Studio 23 coverage sucks. You all should've watched it live.

  • wow the stage suddenly lighted up, nothing spectacular about this performance

. . go USTe bawi next year

  • D-LS-U! ANIMO LA SALLE!!! NEVER SHALL WE FAIL ika nga diba..

  • champion? oh c'mmon! you must be kidding! how come naging champion to? hello! streetdance competition po ito, hindi cheerdance! naligaw ata ang title na champion.. napakaamateur ng steps..

  • @repa234 Kaw na magjudge. Kaw expert eh?

  • @repa234 . btw, do you know what street dancing means? and are there any rules that says that the host can't win any competition?

  • sloppy.

  • Why did it become so bright when it was DLSU's turn?

  • champions? c'mon! for me, and majority, other school deserves to be the champion. ATENEO, UP, & UE. youre steps and costume are so common na. walang wow effect! maging fair naman kau. dont take advantage just because kayo ang host school. sori, pro you guys deserves to be d last in rank.

to all other participants, bawi nalng kayo sa susunod, you can beat them! :) wag na magpaloko :D

    congrats sa lahat :)

    peace y'all!

  • @mrmackee24 wala ka na magagawa panalo talaga DLSU. . . kakadown mo sa DLSU the more blessings ang matatanggap nila. . . GO USTe

  • champions? c'mon! for me, and majority, other school deserves to be the champion. • Lemme ask, have you guys actually seen this routine live? You do know a dance registers differently if watched through a video right? If you were there, I sincerely doubt you would question the results.

  • @imjustahappykid I watched it on TV. They had the performance I've seen among all schools.

  • @EcraM33 I watched it on TV. They had the *best performance I've seen among all schools.

  • : What the heck is this performance? Obviously, this is all crap!

  • ayun o, ang liwanag! haha!

  • Mas maganda live! ;)

  • I love LSDC street coz i know they're one of the best..but maybe this time their peformance is not that good?..others deserve the title..hosts got it..but its ok..may next year pa..

  • ust, feu, ue, or up deserve the throne but not dlsu...(my opinion and observation)

  • this is bullshit!!! no thrill at all,.. honestly..

  • You HATERS should just piss off. Didn't you see who the judges were? Their credibility is irrefutable.

    1. "Young JV" KAPUNAN - performance judge

    2. JAY MASTA CAMBAY - performance judge

    3. MADELLE ENRIQUEZ - performance judge (deductions)

    4. IDA BARLAND - skills judge

    5. JAIME DEL PRADO - skills judge

    6. ALFRED LAUZON - skills judge (deductions)

    7. JUNGEE MARCELO - head judge

  • @nostalgia0001 maybe the judges really like dlsu in terms of its name and not of its performance

  • @nostalgia0001 hello! uso kaya yun "BAYADAN PARA MANALO!" ahaha :)) nanyayare kaya yun..hahaha

  • the only time they lit the stage bright was when dlsu performed
