@CaztheHunter yes, the moors' influence in spanish music is obvious. But the simple "international flamenco-style" seems to fly back to persia. And as said before, this piece sounds like Dieter Bohlen composing persian songs. A lot of interesting music, internationally influenced or not, is coming from persia. This is not.

@silvesterde Yes, the moors were influenced greatly by Persian music. They were introduced to the music and culture of the times by Ziryab, who was Persian. He had previosuly excelled his master in Baghdad, and had to flee from there in fear for his life. Apparently, his tunes still exist in western classical music as well.
