@LOJETE85 I used a little bit of conditioner on it to make it easier to comb out. It wasn't particularly difficult; it took a few minutes and I had to be very careful not to snag and rip my hair when I was combing it out.
Yes time does fly! Gratz on reaching 9 months loc'd :) I noticed you said you re-twist once per week - do you feel that might be too often? I guess a bonus to that is you don't get mega frizzies and have to cover the mess with a hat occasionally! lol! Your hair is looking very nice and neat :) I like you hair band style. I have lots of hair bands too but I can never get them to look right in my hair - I will practice more!
@monicaRocksLocs I twist it every week, because I wash it every week...and since it's not fully loc'ed yet, after I wash it, it becomes incredibly messy.
I was worried at first that once a week might be too often b/c of what everyone on Youtube says, but I'm not worried about it now. I don't twist it tightly, and besides, in my opinion, it's not much different from combing/brushing your hair every day, or having it braided every week, which is what I used to do when I was young.
