i feel blessed my parents exposed me to good music at an early age. i feel ive given back to them by exposing them to the minutemen (they are fans now). i feel sorry for children being exposed to what their parents think is 'in'. i hope this lil tike feels the same when she reaches my age. r.i.p. mr boon.
This is great. I agree with you that its very important to expose our children to the classics at an early age. I have some ancient footage of my kids(2 boys 14 & 15 now)freakin' to some classics like Frank Black, Pixies etc. Thanks for the laugh.
You fucking imbecile. Do you realize that the Minutemen, the band, stood against everything the Minuteman Project stand for. Listen to This Ain't No Picnic, Viet Nam, and Corona for proof.
D.Boon and Mike Watt... Babysitting the minds of the 'next generation' Viva la Minutemen and uber cool parenting... :)

Training your child correctly. My eight year old can scream all the lyrics to X's, Los Angeles. RIP d Boon. Long live Punk Rock.

Too cute! I agree with mdc848, that's hilarious. Great band, rock-n-roll child! reminds me of "Punk Rock Dad" by Jim Lindberg from Pennywise.
Very funny memoir of a punker becoming father of 3 girls.
