This would have been a misdemeanor charge against the mother & she would not have been in jail 4 long. I'm sorry, but abusive parents need to realize that they don't have the right to force their daughters to get abortions against their will. Under the Roe v. Wade law, it is the girl/woman's choice, not her parents choice or anyone else's choice. Coerced abortion (no matter who is doing the coercing) is ILLEGAL!!!!
Oh & another thing. In regards to the woman who said she would have put her mother in jail 4 coercing her to have the abortion, I agree with that woman. If her mother refused to stop trying to force her to get the abortion, then she had every right to call the police on her. U democrats may not realize this, but coerced/forced abortion is illegal in this country. If the mother refused 2 back down, then a night or 2 or maybe even a week in jail is what she may have needed to calm her behind down.

No parent, husband, boyfriend or anyone else has the right to pressure, coerce or force any girl or woman 2 have an abortion against her will. It is HER choice, not THEIRS.

Most Americans know that this is wrong & that this is an abuse of a woman's rights. Under the law, women have as much right to continue their pregnancies as they do to have an abortion. And as a woman who was a victim of Forced Abortion myself, I will spend the rest of my life fighting to get Coerced Abortion prevention laws passed!
