Well the Shitstation 3 is not better for technicals problems in my opinion. The first console I bought was actuallly a Ps3 and it broke in 2 days for an unknown reason (it could not read anymore discs). As I got my money back, I immediatly took an Xbox 360 and I personally think it is much more reliable. Don't worry, they don't check the seal anymore... I think. Don't take this the wrong way but chances are that if u don't know how to take the cover off, the seal is still there. If u must know... just drag it by pulling from the lower most side of the cover and with your finger inside the usb port door there.

2. Yes. u call xbox, u get the white box and then u send it.

3. 100% sure u get someone elses xbox. You get ONE repaired xbox, the serial number is different. That's how u tell its not your xbox.

yeah... the problem is the silicon that attaches the processor to the MB, when its all melted down u get the rrod, but sometimes u have just the right position and temperature for the energy to pass through the processor...it comes and goes... it goes more ofently

360 premium used to be the most likely to get the RROD some time ago, but that was becuz EVERYONE had the premium not becuz there was something particularly wrong with premium. Almost no one bought the arcade version.

As I've read on several articles, the elite version is the less likely to get the RROD becuz it is said that they put an extra fan inside the xbox so it wouldn't over heat and consequently avoid the rrod.
