@TheHou5e unfortunately.. they didnt :( i was sad too.. they got hit by a volkswagon and that was it for them.. BMW gtr2 won the race... i was watching almost all of it.. the hybrid was fighting with an audi for 1st... after manthey went out.. after a while the audi was wearing down faster on power then broke down and the hybrid took the lead... and a few pits later the hybrid lost the lead and started falling back

@lobzdik: Aesthetics-wise, the RSR boasts a wider body (wider than the Cup car) PLUS better aerodynamic appendages and vents and an open, fully unrestricted exhaust system.  A Cup car on the other had looks more like it's GT3 RS street-legal brother.

The RSR is built for GT2 class racing, and the Cup is built for GT3 class racing.

In GT2, you are allowed to have more aerodynamic freedom, a more powerful engine and better chassis. GT3 is basically a street car that has been lightened a LOT and a bit more powerful engine has been put in, but not as powerful as GT2.
