Better Globe (BG) to my knowledge is debt free, they are supported by local governments, and the lands are leased to BG for 99 years. The trees you buy are yours, they are not owned by BG. The trees are only cared for and protected by Better Globe Forestry. In the unlikely event that BG somehow should crumble, the plantation will still be there and the trees are still yours. Owners could organize and hire or form a company to finish what have been started to secure their profits.
Lets not forget: Better Globe's long-term mission is to eradicate hunger and poverty in Africa. They have chosen to do this though a business model for sustainability. This also means that BG have steady income and are not dependent on donations or charity like other organizations are. It is a fully sustainable concept where poor communities in Africa win, the environment win and Better Globe members win! Thank you for your interest in Better Globe! :-)
question: is better globe a reliable company in the long term? how do i know they will still be here after 20 years?
