i love how the msx cant scroll for shit, even castlevania got cut down to screen by screen progression. not the system for shumps lol

It kind of depends on the developer but horizontal scrolling was difficult. Even so most (well developed) MSX games looked much better than their other 8bit counterparts. Even compared to dedicated games consoles like the NES.

Not all MSX games have terrible scrolling. Have you seen Aleste and Aleste 2?

There is also a PC Engine Version called CHUKA TAISEN which would be probably the best version out i think. Nice video by the way.

Actually no, I'm pretty sure there is no PC Engine version. As far as I know, Cloud Master / Chuka Taisen only appeared on the Master System, NES and MSX, apart from the arcade.

Sorry, unless you meant Gokuraku Chuka Taisen, which is more of a sequel to this game.
